Surah 3, ayah 191

  1. الَّذِیْنَیہ وہ لوگ ہیں
  2. یَذْكُرُوْنَجو یاد کرتے ہیں
  3. اللّٰهَاللہ کو
  4. قِیٰمًاکھڑی حالت میں
  5. وَّقُعُوْدًااور بیٹھی حالت میں
  6. وَّعَلٰیاور اوپر
  7. جُنُوْبِهِمْاپنے پہلوؤں کے۔ کروٹوں کے
  8. وَیَتَفَكَّرُوْنَاور غور و فکر کرتے ہیں
  9. فِیْمیں
  10. خَلْقِپیدائش
  11. السَّمٰوٰتِآسمانوں کی
  12. وَالْاَرْضِ ۚاور زمین کی پیدائش میں (وہ کہہ اٹھتے ہیں)
  13. رَبَّنَااے ہمارے رب
  14. مَانہیں
  15. خَلَقْتَتو نے پیدا کیا
  16. هٰذَایہ (سب)
  17. بَاطِلًا ۚباطل۔ ناحق۔ بےفائدہ۔ بےمقصد
  18. سُبْحٰنَكَپاک ہے تو
  19. فَقِنَاپس بچا ہم کو
  20. عَذَابَعذاب سے
  21. النَّارِآگ کے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

جو اٹھتے، بیٹھتے اور لیٹتے، ہر حال میں خدا کو یاد کرتے ہیں اور آسمان و زمین کی ساخت میں غورو فکر کرتے ہیں۔1 ( وہ بے اختیار بول اٹھتے ہیں)”پروردگار! یہ سب کچھ تُو نے فضول اور بے مقصد نہیں بنایا ہے، تُو پاک ہے اس سے کہ عبث کا م کرے۔ پس اے رب! ہمیں دوزخ کے عذاب سے بچالے ،2

  1. :یعنی ان نشانیوں سے ہر شخص بآسانی حقیقت تک پہنچ سکتا ہے بشرطیکہ وہ خدا سے غافل نہ ہو، اور آثارِ کائنات کو جانوروں کی طرح نہ دیکھے بلکہ غوروفکر کے ساتھ مشاہدہ کرے۔

  2. جب وہ نظامِ کائنات کا بغور مشاہدہ کرتے ہیں تو یہ حقیقت ان پر کھُل جاتی ہے کہ یہ سراسر ایک حکیمانہ نظام ہے۔ اور یہ بات سراسر حکمت کے خلاف ہے کہ جس مخلوق میں اللہ نے اخلاقی حِس پیدا کی ہو، جسے تصرّف کے اختیارات دیے ہوں، جسے عقل و تمیز عطا کی ہو، اُس سے اُس کی حیاتِ دنیا کے اعمال پر باز پُرس نہ ہو، اور اسے نیکی  پر جزا اور بدی پر سزا نہ دی جائے۔ اس طرح نظامِ کائنات پر غورو فکر کرنے سے اُنھیں آخرت کا یقین حاصل ہو جاتا ہے اور وہ خدا کی سزا سے پناہ مانگنے لگتے ہیں۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

جو اللہ کا ذکر کرتے رہتے ہیں کھڑے بھی بیٹھے بھی اور اپنے پہلوؤں پر بھی اور مزید غور و فکر کرتے رہتے ہیں آسمانوں اور زمین کی تخلیق میں اے ہمارے ربّ ! تو نے یہ سب کچھ بےمقصد تو پیدا نہیں کیا ہے تو پاک ہے (اس سے کہ کوئی عبث کام کرے) پس تو ہمیں دوزخ کے عذاب سے بچا !

آیت 191 الَّذِیْنَ یَذْکُرُوْنَ اللّٰہَ قِیٰمًا وَّقُعُوْدًا وَّعَلٰی جُنُوْبِہِمْ وَیَتَفَکَّرُوْنَ فِیْ خَلْقِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ ج اس غور و فکر سے وہ ایک دوسرے نتیجے پر پہنچتے ہیں اور پکار اٹھتے ہیں :رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ ہٰذَا بَاطِلًا ج اور پھر ان کا ذہن اپنی طرف منتقل ہوتا ہے کہ میری زندگی کا مقصد کیا ہے ؟ میں کس لیے پیدا کیا گیا ہوں ؟ کیا میری زندگی بس یہی ہے کہ کھاؤ پیو ‘ اولاد پیدا کرو اور دنیا سے رخصت ہوجاؤ ؟ معلوم ہوا کہ نہیں ‘ کوئی خلا ہے۔ انسانی اعمال کے نتیجے نکلنے چاہئیں ‘ انسان کو اس کی نیکی اور بدی کا بدلہ ملنا چاہیے ‘ جو اس دنیا میں اکثر و بیشتر نہیں ملتا۔ دنیا میں اکثر یہی دیکھا گیا ہے کہ نیکوکار فاقوں سے رہتے ہیں اور بدکار عیش کرتے ہیں۔ چناچہ کوئی اور زندگی ہونی چاہیے ‘ کوئی اور دنیا ہونی چاہیے جس میں اچھے برے اعمال کا بھرپور بدلہ مل جائے ‘ مکافات عمل ہو۔ لہٰذا وہ کہہ اٹھتے ہیں :سُبْحٰنَکَ فَقِنَا عَذَاب النَّارِ تو نے یقیناً ایک دوسری دنیا تیار کر رکھی ہے ‘ جس میں جزا وسزا کے لیے جنت بھی ہے اور جہنم بھی !
