- وَالصّٰدِقِیْنَاور سچے۔ سچ بولنے والے
- وَالْقٰنِتِیْنَاور اطاعت گزار
- وَالْمُنْفِقِیْنَاور خرچ کرنے والے

یہ لوگ صبر کرنے والے ہیں،1 راستباز ہیں، فرمانبردار اور فیاض ہیں اور رات کی آخری گھڑیوں میں اللہ سے مغفرت کی دعائیں مانگا کرتے ہیں

یعنی راہِ حق پر پُوری استقامت دکھانے والے ہیں۔ کسی نقصان یا مصیبت سے ہمت نہیں ہارتے، کسی ناکامی سے دل شکستہ نہیں ہوتے، کسی لالچ سے پھِسل نہیں جاتے اور ایسی حالت میں بھی حق کا دامن مضبوطی کے ساتھ تھامے رہتے ہیں ، جبکہ بظاہر اُس کی کامیابی کا کوئی امکان نظر نہ آتا ہو۔ (ملاحظہ ہو سُورہٴ بقرہ ، حاشیہ نمبر ۶۰ )۔

Commentary
آیت 17 اَلصّٰبِرِیْنَ وَالصّٰدِقِیْنَ راست بازی میں راست گوئی بھی شامل ہے اور راست کرداری بھی۔ یعنی آپ کا عمل بھی صحیح اور درست ہو اور قول بھی صحیح اور درست ہو۔وَالْقٰنِتِیْنَ وَالْمُنْفِقِیْنَ وَالْمُسْتَغْفِرِیْنَ بالْاَسْحَارِ وہ جو سحر کا وقت ہے small hours of the morning اس وقت اللہ کے حضور استغفار کرنے والے۔ ایک تو پنج وقتہ نمازیں ہیں ‘ اور ایک خاص وقت ہے جس کے بارے میں فرمایا گیا ہے کہ ہر رات جب رات کا آخری ایک تہائی حصہ باقی رہ جاتا ہے تو اللہ تعالیٰ سمائے دنیا تک نزول فرماتا ہے اور کہتا ہے : ھَلْ مِنْ سَاءِلٍ یُعْطٰی ؟ ھَلْ مِنْ دَاعٍ یُسْتَجَابُ لَہٗ ؟ ھَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ یُغْفَرُلَہٗ ؟ 1 ہے کوئی مانگنے والا کہ اسے عطا کیا جائے ؟ ہے کوئی دعا کرنے والا کہ اس کی دعا قبول کی جائے ؟ ہے کوئی استغفار کرنے والا کہ اسے معاف کردیا جائے ؟ گویا : ہم تو مائل بہ کرم ہیں کوئی سائل ہی نہیں راہ دکھلائیں کسے راہ رو منزل ہی نہیں !
