- یٰۤاَیُّهَااے
- الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگو
- اٰمَنُوْاجو ایمان لائے ہو
- لَانہ
- تَكُوْنُوْاتم ہوجاؤ
- كَالَّذِیْنَان لوگوں کی طرح
- كَفَرُوْاجنہوں نے کفر کیا
- وَقَالُوْااور انہوں نے کہا
- لِاِخْوَانِهِمْواسطے اپنے بھائیوں کے
- اِذَاجب
- ضَرَبُوْاوہ چلے پھرے
- فِیمیں
- الْاَرْضِزمین (میں)
- اَوْیا
- كَانُوْاتھے وہ
- غُزًّیلڑنے والے
- لَّوْاگر
- كَانُوْاوہ ہوتے
- عِنْدَنَاہمارے پاس
- مَانہ
- مَاتُوْاوہ مرتے
- وَمَااور نہ
- قُتِلُوْا ۚوہ قتل کیے جاتے
- لِیَجْعَلَتاکہ کردے
- اللّٰهُاللہ
- ذٰلِكَاس کو
- حَسْرَةًحسرت کا سبب
- فِیْمیں
- قُلُوْبِهِمْ ؕان کے دلوں (میں)
- وَاللّٰهُاور اللہ
- یُحْیٖزندہ کرتا ہے
- وَیُمِیْتُ ؕاور موت دیتا ہے
- وَاللّٰهُاور اللہ
- بِمَاساتھ اس کے جو
- تَعْمَلُوْنَتم کرتے ہو
- بَصِیْرٌدیکھنے والا ہے

Translation and commentary
Bayan-ul-Quran
اے اہل ایمان ! تم ان لوگوں کی مانند نہ ہوجانا جنہوں نے کفر کیا اور جنہوں نے اپنے بھائیوں کے بارے میں جبکہ وہ زمین میں سفر پر نکلے ہوئے تھے یا کسی جہاد میں شریک تھے (اور وہاں ان کا انتقال ہوگیا) کہا کہ اگر وہ ہمارے پاس ہوتے تو نہ مرتے نہ قتل ہوتے (یہ بات اس لیے ان کی زبان پر آتی ہے) تاکہ اللہ اس کو ان کے دلوں میں حسرت کا باعث بنا دے اور دیکھو اللہ ہی زندہ رکھتا ہے اور وہی موت وارد کرتا ہے اور جو کچھ تم کر رہے ہو اللہ اسے دیکھ رہا ہے

Commentary
آیت 156 یٰٓاَیُّہَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لاَ تَکُوْنُوْا کَالَّذِیْنَ کَفَرُوْا وَقَالُوْا لِاِخْوَانِہِمْ اِذَا ضَرَبُوْا فِی الْاَرْضِ اَوْ کَانُوْا غُزًّی لَّوْ کَانُوْا عِنْدَنَا مَا مَاتُوْا وَمَا قُتِلُوْا ج ہر شخص کی موت کا وقت تو معین ہے۔ وہ اگر تمہاری گود میں بیٹھے ہوں تب بھی موت آجائے گی۔ چاہے وہ بہت ہی مضبوط پہرے والے قلعوں میں ہوں موت تو وہاں بھی پہنچ جائے گی۔ تو تم اس طرح کی باتیں نہ کرو۔ یہ تو کافروں کے انداز کی باتیں ہیں کہ اگر ہمارے پاس ہوتے اور جنگ میں نہ جاتے تو بچ جاتے۔ یہ ساری باتیں درحقیقت ایمان کے منافی ہیں۔ ایک حدیث میں آتا ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : فَاِنَّ لَوْ تَفْتَحُ عَمَلَ الشَّیْطَانِ 1 کاش کا لفظ شیطان کے عمل کا دروازہ کھول دیتا ہے۔ یعنی یہ کہنا کہ کاش ایسے ہوجاتا تو یوں ہوجاتا ‘ اس کلمہ ہی سے شیطان کا عمل شروع ہوجاتا ہے۔ جو ہوا اس لیے ہوا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کو اس کا ہونا منظور تھا ‘ اس کی حکمتیں اسے معلوم ہیں ‘ ہم اس کی حکمت کا احاطہ نہیں کرسکتے۔ لِیَجْعَلَ اللّٰہُ ذٰلِکَ حَسْرَۃً فِیْ قُلُوبِہِمْ ط۔اس قسم کی باتوں سے اللہ تعالیٰ ان کے دلوں میں حسرت کی آگ جلا دیتا ہے۔ یہ بھی گویا ان کے کفر کی سزا ہے۔
