  1. یٰۤاَیُّهَااے
  2. الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگو
  3. اٰمَنُوْۤاجو ایمان لائے ہو
  4. اِنْاگر
  5. تُطِیْعُواتم اطاعت کرو
  6. الَّذِیْنَان لوگوں کی
  7. كَفَرُوْاجنہوں نے کفر کیا
  8. یَرُدُّوْكُمْوہ پھیر دیں گے تم کو
  9. عَلٰۤیاوپر
  10. اَعْقَابِكُمْتمہاری ایڑیوں کے
  11. فَتَنْقَلِبُوْاتو لوٹ جاؤ گے تم۔ پلٹ جاؤ گے تم
  12. خٰسِرِیْنَخسارہ پانے والے ہوکر

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو ، اگر تم ان لوگوں کے اشاروں پر چلو گے جنھوں نے کفر کی راہ اختیار کی ہے تو وہ تم کو الٹا پھیر لے جائیں گے1 اور تم نامراد ہو جا ؤ گے

  1. )یعنی جس کفر کی حالت سے تم نِکل کر آئے ہو اُسی میں تمہیں پھر واپس لے جائیں گے ۔ منافقین اور یہودی اُحد کی شکست کے بعد مسلمانوں میں یہ خیال پھیلانے کی کوشش کر رہے تھے کہ محمد ؐ اگر واقعی نبی ہوتے تو شکست کیوں کھاتے۔ یہ تو ایک معمولی آدمی ہیں۔ ان کا معاملہ بھی دوسرے آدمیوں کی طرح ہے ۔ آج فتح ہے تو کل  شکست ۔ خدا کی جس حمایت و نصرت کا انہوں نے تم کو یقین دلا رکھا ہے وہ محض ایک ڈھونگ ہے۔
