  1. اِنْاگر
  2. یَّمْسَسْكُمْپہنچا تم کو۔ چھو جائے تم کو
  3. قَرْحٌکوئی زخم
  4. فَقَدْتو تحقیق
  5. مَسَّپہنچا ہے
  6. الْقَوْمَاس قوم کو
  7. قَرْحٌزخم
  8. مِّثْلُهٗ ؕاسی کی مانند
  9. وَتِلْكَاور یہ
  10. الْاَیَّامُدن
  11. نُدَاوِلُهَاہم پھیرتے رہتے ہیں ان کو
  12. بَیْنَدرمیان
  13. النَّاسِ ۚلوگوں کے
  14. وَلِیَعْلَمَاور تاکہ جان لے
  15. اللّٰهُاللہ
  16. الَّذِیْنَان لوگوں کو
  17. اٰمَنُوْاجو ایمان لائے
  18. وَیَتَّخِذَاور بنا لے
  19. مِنْكُمْتم میں سے
  20. شُهَدَآءَ ؕگواہ۔ شہید
  21. وَاللّٰهُاور اللہ
  22. لَانہیں
  23. یُحِبُّمحبت رکھتا
  24. الظّٰلِمِیْنَظالموں سے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اس وقت اگر تمہیں چوٹ لگی ہےتو اس سے پہلے ایسی ہی چوٹ تمہارے مخالف فریق کو بھی لگ چکی ہے۔1 یہ تو زمانہ کے نشیب و فراز ہیں جنھیں ہم لوگوں کے درمیان گردش دیتے رہتے ہیں۔ تم پر یہ وقت اس لیے لایا گیا کہ اللہ دیکھنا چاہتا تھا کہ تم میں سچے مومن کو ن ہیں، اور ان لوگوں کو چھانٹ لینا چاہتا تھا جو واقعی(راستی کے) گواہ ہوں۔۔۔۔2 کیونکہ ظالم لوگ اللہ کو پسند نہیں ہیں

  1. اشارہ ہے جنگِ بدر کی طرف۔ اور کہنے کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ جب اُس چوٹ کو کھا کر کافر پست ہمّت نہ ہوئے تو اس چوٹ پر تم کیوں ہمّت ہارو۔

  2. اصل الفاظ ہیں وَیَتَّخِذَ مِنْکُم ْشُھَدَآءَ ۔ اس کا مطلب تو یہ ہے کہ تم میں سے کچھ شہید لینا چاہتا تھا، یعنی کچھ لوگوں کو شہادت کی عزّت بخشنا چاہتا تھا۔ اور دُوسرا مطلب یہ ہے کہ اہلِ ایمان اور منافقین کے اُس مخلوط گروہ میں سے جس پر تم اِس وقت مشتمل ہو، اُن لوگوں کو الگ چھانٹ لینا چاہتا تھا جو حقیقت میں شُھَدَآ ء عَلَی النَّاس ہیں، یعنی اُس منصب ِ جلیل کے اہل ہیں جس پر ہم نے اُمّتِ مسلمہ کو سرفراز کیا ہے۔
