- اِنْاگر
- تَمْسَسْكُمْپہنچے تم کو۔ پہنچ جائے تم کو
- حَسَنَةٌکوئی بھلائی
- تَسُؤْهُمْ ؗبری لگتی ہے ان کو
- وَاِنْاور اگر
- تُصِبْكُمْپہنچتی ہے تم کو
- سَیِّئَةٌکوئی برائی
- یَّفْرَحُوْاوہ خوش ہوتے ہیں
- بِهَا ؕاس پر۔ ساتھ اس کے
- وَاِنْاور اگر
- تَصْبِرُوْاتم صبر کرو
- وَتَتَّقُوْااور تقوی کرو
- لَانہ
- یَضُرُّكُمْنقصان دے گی تم کو
- كَیْدُهُمْچال ان کی
- شَیْـًٔا ؕکچھ بھی
- اِنَّبیشک
- اللّٰهَاللہ تعالیٰ
- بِمَاساتھ اس کے جو
- یَعْمَلُوْنَوہ عمل کرتے ہیں
- مُحِیْطٌگھیرنے والا ہے

Translation and commentary
Bayan-ul-Quran
(اے مسلمانو !) اگر تمہیں کوئی بھلائی پہنچ جائے تو ان کو بری لگتی ہے اور اگر تمہیں کوئی تکلیف پہنچے تو اس سے وہ خوش ہوتے ہیں لیکن اگر تم صبر کرتے رہو اور تقویٰ کی روش اختیار کیے رہو تو ان کی یہ ساری چالیں تمہیں کوئی مستقل نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکیں گی جو کچھ یہ کر رہے ہیں یقیناً اللہ تعالیٰ اس کا احاطہ کیے ہوئے ہے

Commentary
آیت 120 اِنْ تَمْسَسْکُمْ حَسَنَۃٌ تَسُؤْہُمْ ز۔اگر تمہیں کوئی کامیابی حاصل ہوجائے ‘ کہیں فتح نصیب ہوجائے تو ان کو اس سے تکلیف پہنچتی ہے۔ وَاِنْ تُصِبْکُمْ سَیِّءَۃٌ یَّفْرَحُوْا بِہَا ط۔اگر تمہیں کوئی گزند پہنچ جائے ‘ کہیں عارضی طور پر شکست ہوجائے ‘ جیسے احد میں ہوگئی تھی ‘ تو بڑے خوش ہوتے ہیں ‘ شادیانے بجاتے ہیں۔وَاِنْ تَصْبِرُوْا وَتَتَّقُوْا لاَ یَضُرُّکُمْ کَیْدُہُمْ شَیْءًا ط۔سورۃ البقرۃ میں صبر اور صلوٰۃ سے مدد لینے کی تلقین کی گئی تھی ‘ یہاں صلوٰۃ کی جگہ لفظ تقویٰ آگیا ہے کہ اگر تم یہ کرتے رہو گے تو پھر بالآخر ان کی ساری سازشیں ناکام ہوں گی۔ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ بِمَا یَعْمَلُوْنَ مُحِیْطٌ ۔یہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے دائرے سے اور اس کی کھینچی ہوئی حد سے آگے نہیں نکل سکتے۔ یہ اس کے اندر اندر اچھل کود کر رہے ہیں اور سازشیں کر رہے ہیں۔ لیکن اللہ تعالیٰ تمہیں یہ ضمانت دے رہا ہے کہ یہ تمہیں کوئی مستقل نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکیں گے
