- مَثَلُمثال
- مَااس کی جو
- یُنْفِقُوْنَوہ خرچ کرتے ہیں
- فِیْمیں
- هٰذِهِاس
- الْحَیٰوةِزندگی
- الدُّنْیَادنیا کی
- كَمَثَلِمانند مثال
- رِیْحٍہوا کے ہے
- فِیْهَااس میں
- صِرٌّپالا ہے
- اَصَابَتْپہنچتی ہے
- حَرْثَکھیتی کو
- قَوْمٍایک قوم کی
- ظَلَمُوْۤاجنہوں نے ظلم کیا
- اَنْفُسَهُمْاپنے نفسوں پر
- فَاَهْلَكَتْهُ ؕتو (ہوا نے) ہلاک کردیا اس کو
- وَمَااور نہیں
- ظَلَمَهُمُظلم کیا ان پر
- اللّٰهُاللہ نے
- وَلٰكِنْاور لیکن
- اَنْفُسَهُمْاپنے نفسوں پر
- یَظْلِمُوْنَوہ ظلم کرتے تھے

دنیا کی اس زندگی میں یہ لوگ جو بھی خرچ کرتے ہیں اس کی مثال ایسی ہے کہ جیسے ایک زور دار آندھی جس میں پالا ہو وہ کسی ایسی قوم کی کھیتی کو آپڑے جس نے اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کیا ہو پھر وہ اس (کھیتی) کو تباہ و برباد اور تہس نہس کر کے رکھ دے اور ان پر اللہ نے کوئی ظلم نہیں کیا بلکہ وہ اپنی جانوں پر خود ظلم ڈھا رہے ہیں

Commentary
آیت 117 مَثَلُ مَا یُنْفِقُوْنَ فِیْ ہٰذِہِ الْحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنْیَا قریش مکہ اہل ایمان کے خلاف جو جنگی تیاریاں کر رہے تھے تو اس کے لیے مال خرچ کرتے تھے۔ فوج تیار کرنی ہے تو اس کے لیے اونٹ اور دیگر سواریوں کی ضرورت ہے ‘ سامان حرب و ضرب کی ضرورت ہے ‘ تو ظاہر ہے اس کے لیے مال تو خرچ ہوگا۔ یہ اس انفاق مال کی طرف اشارہ ہے کہ یہ لوگ دنیا کی زندگی میں جو کچھ خرچ کرتے ہیں یا تو دین کی مخالفت کے لیے یا اپنے جی کو ذرا جھوٹی تسلی دینے کے لیے کرتے ہیں کہ ہم کچھ صدقہ و خیرات بھی کرتے ہیں ‘ چاہے ہمارا کردار کتنا ہی گرگیا ہو۔ تو ان کے انفاق کی مثال ایسی ہے :کَمَثَلِ رِیْحٍ فِیْہَا صِرٌّ اَصَابَتْ حَرْثَ قَوْمٍ ظَلَمُوْآ اَنْفُسَہُمْ فَاَہْلَکَتْہُ ط۔یعنی ان کی یہ نیکیاں ‘ یہ انفاق ‘ یہ جدوجہد اور دوڑ دھوپ سب کی سب بالکل ضائع ہوجانے والی ہے۔
