کہیں تم ان لوگوں کی طرح نہ ہو جانا جو فرقوں میں بٹ گئے اور کھلی کھلی واضح ہدایا ت پانے کے بعد پھر اختلافات میں مبتلا ہوئے۔1 جنھوں نے یہ روش اختیار کی وہ اس روز سخت سزا پائیں گے

یہ اشارہ اُن اُمّتوں کی طرف ہے جنہوں نے خدا کے پیغمبروں سے دینِ حق کی صاف اور سیدھی تعلیمات پائیں مگر کچھ مُدّت گزر جانے کے بعد اساسِ دین کو چھوڑ دیا اور غیر متعلق ضِمنی و فروعی مسائل کی بنیاد پر الگ الگ فرقے بنانے شروع کر دیے، پھر فضول و لایعنی باتوں پر جھگڑنے میں ایسے مشغول ہوئے کہ نہ اُنہیں اُس کام کا ہوش رہا جو اللہ نے ان کے سپرد کیا تھا اور نہ عقیدہ و اخلاق کے اُن بنیادی اُصُولوں سے کوئی دلچسپی رہی جن پر در حقیقت انسان کی فلاح و سعادت کا مدار ہے۔
