وَقَالُوْااور وہ کہتے ہیں
لَوْلَاۤکیوں نہیں
اُنْزِلَاتاری گئیں
عَلَیْهِاس پر
اٰیٰتٌآیات۔ نشانیاں۔ معجزات
مِّنْسے
رَّبِّهٖ ؕاس کے رب کی طرف
قُلْکہہ دیجیے
اِنَّمَابیشک
الْاٰیٰتُآیات۔ نشانیاں
عِنْدَپاس
اللّٰهِ ؕاللہ کے
وَاِنَّمَاۤاور بیشک
اَنَامیں
نَذِیْرٌڈرانے والا ہوں
مُّبِیْنٌکھلم کھلا
۟

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

یہ لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ ”کیوں نہ اُتاری گئیں اس شخص پر نشانیاں¹ اس کے رب کی طرف سے“؟کہو،”نشانیاں تو اللہ کے پاس ہیں اور میں صرف خبر دار کرنے والا ہوں کھول کھول کر“

اور وہ کہتے ہیں کہ کیوں نہیں نازل کی گئیں ان پر نشانیاں ان کے رب کی طرف سے آپ ﷺ کہیے کہ نشانیاں (نازل کرنے کے اختیارات) تو اللہ ہی کے پاس ہیں اور میں تو صرف واضح طور پر خبردار کرنے والا ہوں

Commentary

آیت 50 وَقَالُوْا لَوْلَآ اُنْزِلَ عَلَیْہِ اٰیٰتٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّہٖ ط ”مشرکین مکہ آئے دن یہ مطالبہ دہراتے رہتے تھے کہ اگر آپ ﷺ نبی ہیں تو آپ ﷺ کو معجزات کیوں نہیں دیے گئے ؟ یہی وجہ ہے کہ قرآن میں بھی ان کا یہ مطالبہ تکرار کے ساتھ بیان ہوا ہے۔
