1اور ہم نے لُوطؑ کو بھیجا جبکہ اُس نے اپنی قوم سے کہا”تم تو وہ فحش کام کرتے ہو جو تم سے پہلے دنیا والوں میں سے کسی نے نہیں کیا ہے

اور (ہم نے بھیجا) لوط ؑ کو جب اس نے اپنی قوم سے کہا کہ تم لوگ ایسی بےحیائی کا ارتکاب کر رہے ہو جو تم سے پہلے تمام جہان والوں میں سے کسی نے نہیں کی

Commentary

آیت 28 وَلُوْطًا اِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِہٖٓ اِنَّکُمْ لَتَاْتُوْنَ الْفَاحِشَۃَز مَا سَبَقَکُمْ بِہَا مِنْ اَحَدٍ مِّنَ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ ”حضرت لوط علیہ السلام کو عامورہ اور سدوم کے شہروں کی طرف مبعوث کیا گیا تھا۔ ان شہروں کے لوگ آپ علیہ السلام کی قوم میں سے نہیں تھے ‘ چناچہ آیت زیر نظر میں انہیں مجازاً آپ علیہ السلام کی قوم قَوْمِہٖ کہا گیا ہے۔ اس سلسلے میں اللہ تعالیٰ کا قاعدہ یہی رہا ہے کہ کسی بھی قوم کی طرف رسول ہمیشہ اس قوم کے اندر سے مبعوث کیا جاتا رہا ہے۔ اس قاعدے اور قانون میں حضرت لوط علیہ السلام کے حوالے سے یہ واحد استثناء ہے اور یہ استثناء بھی دراصل اللہ تعالیٰ کے اس فیصلے کا حصہ ہے کہ حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام کے بعد جو کوئی بھی پیغمبر ہوگا وہ آپ علیہ السلام کی قوم سے ہی ہوگا۔ یاد رہے کہ حضرت لوط علیہ السلام حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام کے بھتیجے تھے۔
