Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

تم نہ زمین میں عاجز کرنے والے ہو نہ آسمان میں،1 اور اللہ سے بچانے والا کوئی سرپرست اور مددگار تمہارے لیے نہیں ہے۔2

  1. یعنی تم کسی ایسی جگہ بھاگ  کر نہیں جا سکتے جہاں اللہ کی گرفت سے بچ نکلو۔ خواہ تم زمین کی تہوں میں کہیں اتر جاؤ یا آسمان کی بلندیوں میں پہنچ جاؤ، بہر حال تمہیں ہر جگہ سے پکڑ لایا جائے گا اور اپنے ربّ کے سامنے تم حاضر کر دیے جاؤ گے ۔ یہی بات سُورۂ رحمٰن میں جِنوں اور انسانوں کو خطاب کرتے ہوئے چیلنج کے انداز میں بیان  فرمائی گئی ہے کہ تم خدا کی خدائی سے اگر نکل سکتے ہو تو ذرا نِکل کر دکھاؤ، اس سے نکلنے کے لیے زور چاہیے ، اور وہ زور تمہیں حاصل نہیں ہے، اس لیے تم ہرگز نہیں نِکل سکتے۔ یَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْاِنْسِ اِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ اَنْ تَنْقُذُوْا مِنْ اَقْطَارِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ فَا نْفُذُوْ ا لَا تَنْفُذُوْنَ اِلَّا بِسُلْطٰنٍ o (آیت 33)۔

  2. یعنی نہ تمہارا اپنا زور اتنا ہے کہ خد اکی پکڑ سے بچ جاؤ، اور نہ تمہارا کوئی ولی و سرپرست یا مددگار ایسا زورآور  ہے کہ خدا کے مقابلے میں تمہیں پناہ دے سکے اور اس کے مواخذے سے تمہیں بچا لے۔ ساری کائنات  میں کسی کی یہ مجال نہیں ہے کہ جن لوگوں نے کفر و شرک کی ارتکاب کیا ہے ،جنہوں نے احکام خداوندی کے آگے جھکنے سے انکار کیا ہے، جنہوں نے جرأت و جسارت کے ساتھ خدا کی نافرمانیاں کی ہیں اور ا س کی زمین میں ظلم و فساد کے طوفان اُٹھائے ہیں ان کا حمایتی بن کر اُٹھ سکے اور خدا کے فیصلۂ عذاب کو ان پر نافذ ہونے سے روک سکے، یا خدا کی عدالت میں یہ کہنے کی ہمت کر سکے کہ یہ میرے ہیں  اس لیے جو کچھ بھی انہوں نے کیا ہے اسے معاف کر دیا جائے۔

اور تم اسے عاجز نہیں کرسکتے زمین میں اور نہ آسمان میں اور نہیں ہے اللہ کے مقابلے میں کوئی تمہارا حمایتی اور نہ ہی کوئی مدد گار

Commentary (one passage for ayahs 29:22, 29:23, 29:24)

آیت 22 وَمَآ اَنْتُمْ بِمُعْجِزِیْنَ فِی الْاَرْضِ وَلَا فِی السَّمَآءِز ”تم زمین یا آسمان میں کہیں بھی کسی بھی طریقے سے اس کے اختیار سے باہر نہیں نکل سکتے۔وَمَا لَکُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰہِ مِنْ وَّلِیٍّ وَّلَا نَصِیْرٍ ”عربی میں دُوْنَ کا لفظ بہت سے معنوں میں استعمال ہوتا ہے۔ عبارت کے سیاق وسباق سے پتا چلتا ہے کہ کس جگہ اس کے کون سے معنی مناسب ہیں۔ اس جگہ ”دُوْنِ اللّٰہ“ کا بہتر مفہوم یہی ہے کہ اللہ کے مقابلے میں تمہارا کوئی حمایتی اور مدد گار نہیں ہوگا۔آیت 18 سے شروع ہونے والا جملہ معترضہ یہاں پر ختم ہوا۔ اب اگلی آیات میں پھر سے حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام کا تذکرہ شروع ہو رہا ہے جس کا سلسلہ آیت 17 سے منقطع ہوگیا تھا۔
