یقیناً فرعون نے بہت سرکشی کی تھی زمین (مصر) میں اور اس نے تقسیم کردیا تھا اس کے باسیوں کو گروہوں میں اس نے دبا رکھا تھا ان میں سے ایک گروہ کو وہ ان کے بیٹوں کو ذبح کردیتا تھا اور ان کی عورتوں کو زندہ رہنے دیتا تھا یقیناً وہ فساد مچانے والوں میں سے تھا

Commentary
وَجَعَلَ اَہْلَہَا شِیَعًا ”فرعون نے مصر کے عوام کو دو طبقوں میں تقسیم کر رکھا تھا۔ ایک طبقہ حاکم تھا اور دوسرا محکوم۔ یعنی قبطی قوم حاکم تھی جبکہ بنی اسرائیل ان کے محکوم تھے۔یَّسْتَضْعِفُ طَآءِفَۃً مِّنْہُمْ ”بنی اسرائیل کو اس نے محکومی اور غلامی کے شکنجے میں جکڑ رکھا تھا اور ان پر وہ بہت سختی کا برتاؤ کرتا تھا۔
