  1. قَالَکہا
  2. رَبِّاے میرے رب
  3. اِنِّیْبیشک میں نے
  4. قَتَلْتُمیں نے قتل کیا
  5. مِنْهُمْان میں سے

  7. فَاَخَافُتو میں ڈرتا ہوں

  9. یَّقْتُلُوْنِوہ قتل کر ڈالیں گے مجھ کو

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

موسیٰؑ نے عرض کیا”میرے آقا، میں تو اُن کا ایک آدمی قتل کر چکا ہوں، ڈرتا ہوں کہ وہ مجھے مار ڈالیں گے۔1

  1. اس کا مطلب یہ نہیں تھا کہ اس ڈر سے وہاں نہیں  جانا چاہتا ۔ بلکہ مطلب یہ تھا کہ حضور کی طرف سے ایسا کوئی انتظام ہونا چاہیے کہ میرے پہنچتے ہی کسی بات چیت اور ادائے رسالت کی نوبت آنے سے پہلے وہ لوگ مجھے الزامِ قتل میں گرفتار نہ کر لیں، کیونکہ اس صورت میں تو وہ مقصد ہی فوت ہو جائے گا جس کے لیے مجھے اس مہم پر بھیجا جا رہا ہے ۔ بعد کی عبارت سے یہ بات خود واضح ہو جاتی ہے کہ حضرت موسیٰؑ کی اس گزارش کا یہ مدعا ہر گز نہیں تھا کہ وہ  ڈر کے مارے نبوت کا منصب قبول کرنے اور فرعون کے ہاں جانے سے انکار کرنا چاہتے تھے۔

اس نے کہا : پروردگار ! میں نے ان میں سے ایک شخص کو قتل کردیا تھا چناچہ مجھے اندیشہ ہے کہ وہ مجھے قتل کردیں گے

آیت 33 قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیْ قَتَلْتُ مِنْہُمْ نَفْسًا فَاَخَافُ اَنْ یَّقْتُلُوْنِ ”اگر میں مصر پہنچ کر خاموشی سے کسی جگہ آباد ہوجاؤں تو شاید محفوظ رہ سکوں ‘ لیکن اگر میں سیدھا فرعون کے دربار میں چلا گیا تو اندیشہ ہے کہ فوری طور پر میرے خلاف مقدمہ چلایا جائے گا اور مجھے قتل کردیا جائے گا۔
