Surah 27, ayah 46

  1. قَالَاس نے کہا
  2. یٰقَوْمِاے میری قوم
  3. لِمَکیوں تم
  4. تَسْتَعْجِلُوْنَجلدی مانگ رہے ہو
  5. بِالسَّیِّئَةِبرائی کو
  6. قَبْلَقبل۔ پہلے
  7. الْحَسَنَةِ ۚبھلائی سے
  8. لَوْلَاکیوں نہیں
  9. تَسْتَغْفِرُوْنَتم بخشش مانگتے
  10. اللّٰهَاللہ سے
  11. لَعَلَّكُمْتاکہ تم
  12. تُرْحَمُوْنَتم رحم کیے جاؤ

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

صالحؑ نے کہا”اے میری قوم کے لوگو، بھلائی سے پہلے بُرائی کے لیے کیوں جلدی مچاتے ہو؟1 کیوں نہیں اللہ سے مغفرت طلب کرتے ؟ شایک کہ تم پر رحم فرمایا جائے؟“

  1. یعنی اللہ سے خیر مانگنے کے بجائے عذاب مانگنے میں کیوں جلدی کرتے ہو؟ دوسرے مقام پر قوم صالح کے سرداروں کا یہ قول نقل ہو چکا ہے کہ یَا صَالِحُ ائْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ اِنْ کُنْتَ مِنَ الْمُرْ سَلِیْنَ،”اے صالح، لے آ وہ عذاب ہم پر جس کی تو ہمیں دھمکی دیتا ہے اگر تو واقعی رسولوں میں سے ہے“(الاعراف۔ آیت77)۔

اس ؑ نے کہا : اے میری قوم کے لوگو ! تم کیوں جلدی مچاتے ہو برائی کے لیے بھلائی سے پہلے تم لوگ اللہ سے مغفرت کیوں نہیں مانگتے تاکہ تم پر رحم کیا جائے

Commentary

آیت 46 قَالَ یٰقَوْمِ لِمَ تَسْتَعْجِلُوْنَ بالسَّیِّءَۃِ قَبْلَ الْحَسَنَۃِ ج ”تم لوگ اللہ سے خیر مانگنے کے بجائے عذاب مانگنے میں کیوں جلدی مچا رہے ہو ؟ سورة الاعراف میں ان کا یہ قول نقل ہوچکا ہے : یٰصٰلِحُ اءْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ اِنْ کُنْتَ مِنَ الْمُرْسَلِیْنَ ”اے صالح ! لے آؤ ہم پر وہ عذاب جس کی تم ہمیں دھمکی دے رہے ہو اگر تم واقعی رسولوں میں سے ہو !“
