  3. لِاَبِیْهِاپنے باپ سے
  4. وَقَوْمِهٖاور اپنی قوم سے
  5. مَاکس چیز کی
  6. تَعْبُدُوْنَتم عبادت کرتے ہو

Tafheem-ul-Quran

جبکہ اس نے اپنے باپ اور اپنی قوم سے پُوچھا تھا کہ”یہ کیا چیزیں ہیں جن کو تم پُوجتے ہو؟“1

  1.  حضرت ابراہیمؑ کے اس سوال کا مدعا یہ معلوم کرنا نہ تھا کہ وہ کن چیزوں کی عبادت کرتے ہیں ، کیونکہ ان بتوں کو تو وہ خود بھی دیکھ رہے تھے جن کی پرستش وہاں ہوتی تھی۔ ان کا مدعا دراصل ان لوگوں کو اس طرف متوجہ کرنا تھا کہ ان معبودوں کی حقیقت کی ہے جن کے آگے وہ سجدہ ریز ہوتے ہیں۔ اسی سوال کو سورہ انبیاء میں بایں الفاظ نقل کیا گیا ہے۔ ’’یہ کیسی مورتیں ہیں جن کے تم گرویدہ ہو رہے ہو‘‘؟
