Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

فرعون نے کہا”اچھا تو لے آ اگر تُو سچا ہے۔1“

  1.  حضرت موسیٰ کے سوال پر فرعون کا یہ جواب خود ظاہر کرتا ہے کہ اس کا حال قدیم و جدید زمانے کے عام مشرکین سے مختلف نہ تھا۔ وہ دوسرے تمام مشرکین کی طرح فوق الفطری معنوں میں اللہ کے الٰہٰ الالٰہہ ہونے کو مانتا تھا اور ان ہی کی طرح یہ بھی تسلیم کرتا تھا کہ کائنات میں اس کی قدرت سب دیوتاؤں سے بر تر ہے۔ اسی وجہ سے حضرت موسیٰ نے اس سے کہا کہ اگر تجھے میرے مامور من اللہ ہونے کا یقین نہیں ہے تو میں ایسی صریح نشانیاں پیش کروں جن سے ثابت ہو جائے کہ میں سی کا بھیجا ہوا ہوں۔ اور اسی وجہ سے اس نے بھی جواب دیا کہ اگر تم اپنے اس دعوے میں سچے ہو تو لاؤ کوئی نشانی۔ ورنہ ظہر ہے کہ اگر اللہ تعالیٰ کی ہستی یا اس کے مالک کائنات ہونے ہی میں اسے کلام ہوتا تو نشانی کا سوال پیدا ہی نہ ہو سکتا تھا۔ نشانی کی بات تو اسی صورت میں درمیان آسکتی تھی جب کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کا وجود اور اس کا وجود اور اس کا قادر مطلق ہونا تو مسلم ہو، اور بحث اس امر میں ہو کہ حضرت موسیٰ اس کے بھیجے ہوئے ہیں یا نہیں۔

آیت 29 قَالَ لَءِنِ اتَّخَذْتَ اِلٰہًا غَیْرِیْ لَاَجْعَلَنَّکَ مِنَ الْمَسْجُوْنِیْنَ ”صورت حال فرعون کی برداشت سے باہر ہوگئی تو اس کا غصہ اور مطلق العنانیت کا جلال اس کیّ خفت پر غالب آگیا۔ اس کیفیت میں اس نے گرجتے ہوئے حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام کو دھمکی دی ‘ مگر یہ قتل کے بجائے صرف جیل میں ڈالنے کی دھمکی تھی۔ اس سے یوں لگتا ہے جیسے ابھی تک فرعون کے دل میں حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام کے لیے کوئی نرم گوشہ موجود تھا اور یہ بالکل فطری بات تھی ‘ کیونکہ وہ حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام کا بچپن کا ساتھی تھا۔ دونوں اکٹھے کھیلے اور ایک ساتھ پلے بڑھے تھے۔ حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام عمر میں بڑے ہونے کی وجہ سے اس کے بڑے بھائی کی طرح تھے۔
