فرعون نے کہا1 ”اور یہ ربّ العالمین کیا ہوتا ہے؟“2

  1.  بیچ میں یہ تفصیل چھوڑ دی گئی ہے کہ حضرت موسیٰ نے اپنے آپ کو ربّ العالمین کے رسول کی حیثیت سے پیش کر کے فرعون کو وہ پیغام پہنچایا جس کے لیے وہ بھجے گئے تھے۔ یہ بات آپ سے آپ ظاہر ہے کہ نبی نے ضرور وہ پیغام پہنچا دیا ہو گا جس پر وہ مامور کیے گئے تھے ، اس لیے اس کا ذکر کرنے کی حاجت نہ تھی۔ اسے چھوڑ کر اب وہ گفتگو نقل کی جاتی ہے جو اس پیغام کی تبلیغ کے بعد فرعون اور موسیٰ کے درمیان ہوئی۔

  2.  یہ اس کا سوال حضرت موسیٰ کے اس قول پر تھا کہ میں رب العالمین (تمام جہان والوں کے  مالک و آقا اور فرماں روا) کی طرف سے بھیجا گیا ہوں اور اس لیے بھیجا گیا ہوں کہ تو بنی اسرائیل کو میرے ساتھ جانے دے۔ اس پیغام کی نوعیت صریح طور پر سیاسی تھی۔ اس کے صاف معنی یہ تھے کہ حضرت موسیٰ جس کی نمائندگی کے مدعی ہیں وہ سارے جہاں والوں پر حاکمیت و اقتدار اعلیٰ رکھتا ہے اور فرعون کی اپنا تابع قرار دے کر اس کے دائرہ حکومت و اقتدار میں ایک بالا تر فرمانروا کی حیثیت سے نہ صرف یہ کہ مداخلت کر رہا ہے بلکہ اس کے نام یہ فرمان بھیج رہا ہے کہ تو اپنی رعایا کے ایک حصے کو میرے نامزد کردہ نمائندے کے حوالے کر دے تاکہ وہ اسے تیری سلطنت سے نکال کر لے جائے۔ اس پر فرعون پوچھتا ہے کہ یہ سارے جہاں والوں کا مالک و فرمانروا ہے کون جو مصر کے بادشاہ کو اس کی رعایا کے ایک ادنی فرد کے ہاتھوں یہ حکم بھیج رہا ہے۔
