سُنی سُنائی باتیں کانوں میں پھُونکتے ہیں اور ان میں سے اکثر جھُوٹے ہوتے ہیں۔1

اس کے دو مطلب ہو سکتے ہیں۔ ایک یہ کہ شیاطین کچھ سن گن لے کر اپنے اولیاء پر القاء کرتے ہیں اور اس میں تھوڑی سی حقیقت کے ساتھ بہت سا جھوٹ ملا دیتے ہیں۔ دوسرے یہ کہ جھوٹے لپاٹیے کاہن شیاطین سے کچھ باتیں سن لیتے ہیں اور پھر اپنی طرف سے بہت سا جھوٹ ملا کر لوگوں کے کانوں میں پھونکتے پھرتے ہیں۔ اس کی تشریح ایک حدیث میں بھی آئی ہے جو بخاری نے حضرت عائشہ سے روایت کی ہے۔ وہ فرماتی ہیں کہ بعض لوگوں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم سے کاہنوں کے بارے میں سوال کیا۔ آپ نے فرمایا وہ کچھ نہیں ہیں۔ انہوں نے عرض کیا، یا رول اللہ بعض اوقات تو وہ ٹھیک بات بتا دیتے ہیں۔ حضورؐ نے فرمایا وہ ٹھیک بات جو ہوتی ہے اسے کبھی کبھار جن لے اڑتے ہیں اور جاکر اپنے دوست کے کان میں پھونک دیتے ہیں ، پھر وہ اس کے ساتھ جھوٹ کی بہت سی آمیزش کر کے ایک داستان بنا لیتا ہے۔
