  1. قَالَاس نے کہا
  2. رَبِّیْۤمیرا رب
  3. اَعْلَمُزیادہ جانتا ہے
  4. بِمَاساتھ اس کے
  5. تَعْمَلُوْنَجو تم عمل کرتے ہو

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

شعیبؑ نے کہا”میرا ربّ جانتا ہے جو کچھ تم کر رہے ہو۔“1

  1.  یعنی عذاب نازل کرنا میرا کام نہیں ہے۔ یہ تو اللہ رب العالمین کے اختیار میں ہے اور وہ تمہارے کرتوت دیکھ ہی رہا ہے۔ اگر وہ تمہیں اس عذاب کا مستحق سمجھے گا تو خود نازل فرما دے گا۔ اصحاب الایکہ کے اس مطالبے اور حضرت شعیب کے اس جواب میں کفار قریش کے لیے بھی ایک تنبیہ تھی۔ وہ بھی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم سے یہی مطالبے کرتے تھے ، اَوْتُسْقِطَ السَّمَآءَ کَمَا زَعَمْتَ عَلَیْنَا کِسَفاً، ’’ یا پھر گرا دے ہم پر آسمان کا کوئی ٹکڑا جیسا کہ تیرا دعویٰ ہے ‘‘۔ (بنی اسرائیل۔ آیت 92 )۔ اس لیے ان کو سنایا جا رہا کہ ایسا ہی  مطالبہ اصحاب الایکہ نے اپنے پیغمبر سے کیا تھا، اس کا جو جواب انہیں ملا وہی محمد صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم کی طرف سے تمہاری طلب کا جواب بھی ہے۔
