Surah 26, ayah 139

  1. فَكَذَّبُوْهُتو انہوں نے جھٹلایا اس کو
  2. فَاَهْلَكْنٰهُمْ ؕپھر ہلاک کردیا ہم نے ان کو
  3. اِنَّبیشک
  4. فِیْاس میں
  5. ذٰلِكَالبتہ
  6. لَاٰیَةً ؕایک نشانی ہے
  7. وَمَااور نہیں
  8. كَانَہیں
  9. اَكْثَرُهُمْان میں سے اکثر
  10. مُّؤْمِنِیْنَایمان لانے والے

آخر کار انہوں نے اُسے جھُٹلا دیا اور ہم نے ان کو ہلاک کر دیا۔1یقیناً اس میں ایک نشانی ہے، مگر ان میں سے اکثر لوگ ماننے والے نہیں ہیں

  1.  اس قوم کے ہلاک ہونے کی جو تفصیل قرآن مجید میں بیان کی گئی ہے وہ یہ ہے کہ اچانک زور کی آندھی اُٹھی۔ یہ لوگ دور سے اس کو اپنی وادیوں کی طرف آتے دیکھ کر سمجھے کہ گھٹا چھائی ہے۔ خوشیاں منانے لگے کہ اب خوب بارش ہو گی۔ مگر وہ تھا خدا کا عذاب۔ آٹھ دن اور سات راتوں تک مسلسل ایسی طوفانی  ہوا چلتی رہی جس نے ہر چیز کو تباہ کر ڈالا۔ اس کے زور کا یہ عالم تھا کہ اس نے آدمیوں کو اُٹھا اُٹھا کر پھینک دیا۔ اس کی گرمی و خشکی کا یہ حال تھا کہ جس چیز پر گزر گئی اسے بوسیدہ کر کے رکھ دیا۔ اور یہ طوفان اس وقت تک نہ تھا جب تک اس ظالم قوم کا ایک ایک  متنفس ختم نہ ہو گیا۔ بس ان کی بستیوں کے کھنڈر ہی ان کے انجام کی داستان سنانے کے لیے کھڑے رہ گئے۔ اور آج کھنڈر بھی باقی نہیں ہیں۔ اَحقاف کا پورا علاقہ ایک خوفناک ریگستان بن چکا ہے۔ (تفصیل کے لیے ملاحظہ ہو تفہم القرآن، جلد چہارم، الاحقاف، حاشیہ 25 )۔
