Commentary
آیت 71 وَمَنْ تَابَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَاِنَّہٗ یَتُوْبُ اِلَی اللّٰہِ مَتَابًا ”یعنی توبہ کے بعد گناہوں سے کنارہ کش ہوگیا اور تقویٰ کی روش اختیار کرلی تو یہی اصل توبہ ہے۔ اس کے برعکس اگر ایک شخص زبان سے توبہ توبہ کے الفاظ ادا کرتا رہے اور استغفار کی تسبیحات پڑھتا رہے ‘ سوا لاکھ مرتبہ آیت کریمہ پڑھوا کر ختم بھی دلائے مگر اس کی حرام خوری جوں کی توں رہے اور وہ گناہوں سے باز نہ آئے تو اس کی توبہ کی کوئی حیثیت نہیں ہے۔
