ان سے کہہ دوکہ”میں اس کام پر تم سے کوئی اُجرت نہیں مانگتا، میری اُجرت بس یہی ہے کہ جس کا جی چاہے وہ اپنے ربّ کا راستہ اختیار کر لے۔1“

Commentary
آیت 57 قُلْ مَآ اَسْءَلُکُمْ عَلَیْہِ مِنْ اَجْرٍ اِلَّا مَنْ شَآءَ اَنْ یَّتَّخِذَ اِلٰی رَبِّہٖ سَبِیْلًا ”آپ لوگ دیکھ رہے ہیں کہ میں تمہیں دعوت دینے اور قرآن سنانے میں ہمہ وقت مصروف رہتا ہوں ‘ لیکن میں نے اس کے عوض تم لوگوں سے کبھی کوئی اجرت نہیں مانگی ‘ کبھی کسی معاوضے کا مطالبہ نہیں کیا۔ تم لوگ مجھ پر شاعر ‘ کاہن اور جادوگر ہونے کا الزام تو دھرتے ہو ‘ مگر کبھی یہ نہیں سوچتے کہ شاعر ‘ کاہن ‘ جادوگر وغیرہ سب تو ہر وقت معاوضے اور انعام کے لالچ میں رہتے ہیں ‘ جبکہ میں تو محض اخلاص اور تمہاری خیر خواہی کی بنیاد پر دعوت دین کی خدمت سر انجام دے رہا ہوں۔ اس میں میرا اجر یا معاوضہ ہے تو صرف اس قدر کہ تم میں سے کسی کو اپنے رب کے راستے پر آنے کی توفیق مل جائے ‘ اور اس میں بھی تمہارا ہی فائدہ ہے نہ کہ میری کوئی غرض یا منفعت !
