  1. وَقَالَاور کہا
  2. الَّذِیْنَان لوگوں نے
  3. لَانہیں
  4. یَرْجُوْنَجو امید رکھتے
  5. لِقَآءَنَاہماری ملاقات کی

  16. اَنْفُسِهِمْاپنے نفسوں
  17. وَعَتَوْاور انہوں نے سرکشی کی
  18. عُتُوًّاسرکشی
  19. كَبِیْرًابڑی

Tafheem-ul-Quran

جو لوگ ہمارے حضور پیش ہونے کا اندیشہ نہیں رکھتے وہ کہتے ہیں”کیوں نہ فرشتے ہمارے پاس بھیجے  جائیں؟1 یا پھر ہم اپنے رب کو دیکھیں۔2“بڑا گھمنڈ لے بیٹھے یہ اپنے نفس میں3 اور حد سے گزر گئے یہ اپنی سر کشی میں

  1.  یعنی اگر واقعی خدا کا ارادہ یہ ہے کہ ہم تک اپنا پیغام پہنچائے تو ایک نبی کو واسطہ بنا کر صرف اس کے پاس فرشتہ بھیج دینا کافی نہیں ہے ، ہر شخص کے پاس ایک فرشتہ آنا چاہیے جو اسے بتائے کہ تیرا رب سے یہ ہدایت دیتا ہے ۔ یا فرشتوں کا ایک وفد مجمع عام میں ہم سے کے سامنے آ جائے اور خدا کا پیغام پہنچا دے ۔ سورہ اَنعام میں بھی ان کے اس اعتراض کو نقل کیا گیا ہے : وَاِذَ ا جَآءَ تْھُمْ اٰیَۃٌ قَا لُوْ ا لَنْ نُّؤْمِنَ حتّٰی نُؤْ تٰی مِثْلَ مَآ اَوْتِیَ رُسُلُ اللہِ ؕ اَللُ اَعْلَمُ حَیْثُ یَجْعَلُ رِسَا لَتَہٗ  ۔ جب کوئی آیت ان کے سامنے پیش ہوتی ہے تو کہتے ہیں کہ ہم ہر گز نہ مانیں گے جب تک کہ ہمیں وہی کچھ نہ دیا جائے جو اللہ کے رسولں کو دیا گیا ہے ۔ حالانکہ اللہ زیادہ بہتر جانتا ہے کہ اپنا پیغام پہنچانے کا کیا انتظام کرے ‘‘(آیت 124) ۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور کہتے ہیں وہ لوگ جو ہماری ملاقات کے امیدوار نہیں ہیں کہ کیوں نہیں اتارے جاتے ہم پر فرشتے یا ہم خود اپنے رب کو دیکھیں انہوں نے اپنے آپ میں بہت زیادہ تکبر کیا ہے اور وہ بہت بڑی سر کشی کے مرتکب ہوئے ہیں

Commentary

اَوْ نَرٰی رَبَّنَاط ”اللہ کے حضور حاضری پر ایمان نہ ہونے کی وجہ سے ان لوگوں کی طبیعتوں میں سر کشی اور لاپرواہی پائی جاتی ہے۔ چناچہ ایمان کی دعوت کو قبول کرنے کے بجائے جواب میں وہ طرح طرح کی باتیں بناتے ہیں۔ مثلاً یہ کہ اگر اللہ نے ہمیں کوئی پیغام بھیجنا ہی تھا تو اپنے فرشتوں کے ذریعے بھجواتا یا وہ خود ہمارے سامنے آجاتا اور ہم اپنی آنکھوں سے اسے دیکھ لیتے۔ یا یہ کہ اللہ کی طرف سے ہمیں کوئی ایسا معجزہ دکھایا جاتا جس سے ہم پر واضح ہوجاتا کہ محمد ﷺ واقعی اللہ کے رسول ﷺ ہیں۔ ان کے ایسے مطالبات کا ذکر مکیّ سورتوں میں بار بار کیا گیا ہے۔لَقَدِ اسْتَکْبَرُوْا فِیْٓ اَنْفُسِہِمْ وَعَتَوْ عُتُوًّا کَبِیْرًا ”ان کے یہ مطالبات ان کے استکبار کا ثبوت اور ان کی سر کشی کی دلیل ہیں۔ گویا وہ خود کو اس لائق سمجھتے ہیں کہ ان پر فرشتوں کا نزول ہو اور اللہ خود ان کے روبرو ان سے ہم کلام ہو۔
