  1. فَقَدْتو تحقیق
  2. كَذَّبُوْكُمْانہوں نے جھٹلایا تم کو
  3. بِمَابوجہ اس کے
  4. تَقُوْلُوْنَ ۙجو تم کہتے تھے
  5. فَمَاتو نہیں
  6. تَسْتَطِیْعُوْنَتم استطاعت رکھتے
  7. صَرْفًاپھیرنے کی (عذاب کی)
  8. وَّلَااور نہ
  9. نَصْرًا ۚمدد کی
  10. وَمَنْاور جو کوئی
  11. یَّظْلِمْظلم کرے گا
  12. مِّنْكُمْتم میں سے
  13. نُذِقْهُہم چکھائیں گے اس کو
  14. عَذَابًاعذاب
  15. كَبِیْرًابڑا

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

یُوں جھُٹلا دیں گے وہ (تمہارے معبُود)تمہاری اُن باتوں کو جو آج تم کہہ رہے ہو1 ، پھر تم نہ اپنی شامت کو ٹال سکو گے نہ کہیں سے مدد پا سکو گے اور جو بھی تم میں سے ظلم کرے2 اُسے ہم سخت عذاب کا مزہ چکھائیں گے

  1.  یعنی تمہارا یہ مذہب ، جس کو تم حق سمجھے بیٹھے ہو، بالکل نے اصل ثابت ہو گا، اور تمہارے وہ معبود جن پر تمہیں بھروسہ ہے کہ یہ خدا کے ہاں ہمارے سفارشی ہیں ، اُلٹے تم کو خطا کار ٹھیرا کر بری الذمہ ہو جائیں گے ۔ تم نے جو کچھ بھی اپنے معبودوں کو قرار دے رکھا ہے ، بطور خود ہی قرار دے رکھا ہے ۔ ان میں سے کسی نے بھی تم سے یہ نہ کہا تھا کہ ہمیں یہ کچھ مانو، اور اس طرح ہماری نذر و نیاز کیا کرو، اور ہم خدا کے ہاں تمہاری سفارش کرنے کا ذمہ لیتے ہیں ۔ ایسا کوئی قول کسی فرشتے یا کسی بزرگ کی طرف سے نہ یہاں تمہارے پاس موجود ہے ، نہ قیامت میں تم اسے ثابت کر سکو گے ، بلکہ وہ سب کے سب خود تمہاری آنکھوں کے سامنے ان باتوں کی تردید کریں گے اور تم اپنے کانوں سے ان کی تردید سن لو گے ۔

  2. یہاں ظلم سے مراد حقیقت اور صداقت پر ظلم ہے، یعنی کفر و شرک۔ سیاق و سباق خود ظاہر کررہا ہے کہ نبی کو نہ ماننے والے اور خدا کے بجائے دوسروں کو معبود بنا بیٹھنے والے اور آخرت کا انکار کرنے والے "ظلم" کے مرتکب قرار دیے جارہے ہیں۔

تو انہوں نے جھٹلا دیا تمہاری ان باتوں کو تو اب نہ تمہارے بس میں ہے (عذاب کو) لوٹانا اور نہ ہی کوئی مدد اور جو کوئی تم میں سے ظلم کا مرتکب ہوا ہے ہم اسے چکھائیں اب بہت بڑا عذاب

Commentary

آیت 19 فَقَدْ کَذَّبُوْکُمْ بِمَا تَقُوْلُوْنَلا ”کہ جن ہستیوں کو تم لوگ اپنے معبود اور ولی مانتے تھے انہوں نے تو تمہارے دعو وں کو رد کردیا۔
