Surah 23, ayah 80

  1. وَهُوَاور وہ اللہ
  2. الَّذِیْوہ ذات ہے
  3. یُحْیٖجو زندہ کرتا ہے
  4. وَیُمِیْتُاور موت دیتا ہے
  5. وَلَهُاور اسی کے لیے ہے
  6. اخْتِلَافُاختلاف
  7. الَّیْلِلیل
  8. وَالنَّهَارِ ؕو نہار کا(دن اور رات کا )
  9. اَفَلَاکیا بھلا نہیں
  10. تَعْقِلُوْنَتم عقل سے کام لو گے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

وہی زندگی بخشتا ہے اور وہی موت دیتا ہے۔ گردشِ لیل و نہار اُسی کے قبضۂ قدرت میں ہے۔1 کیا تمہاری سمجھ میں یہ بات نہیں آتی؟2

  1. ”علم کے ذرائع (حواس اور قوتِ فکر) اور اُن کے مصرف ِ صحیح سے انسان کی غفلت پر متنبہ کرنے کے بعد اب اُن نشانیوں کی طرف توجہ دلائی گئِ ہے جن کا مشاہدہ اگر کھلی آنکھوں سے کیا جائے اور جن کی نشاندہی سے اگر صحیح طور پر استدلال کیا جائے، یا کُھلے کانوں سے کسی معقول استدلال کو سنا جائے ، تو آدمی حق تک پہنچ سکتا ہے۔ یہ بھی معلوم کر سکتا  ہے کہ یہ کارخانۂ ہستی بے خدا، یا بہت سے خداؤں کا ساختہ و پرداختہ نہیں ہے، بلکہ توحید کی اساس پر قائم ہے۔ اور یہ بھی  جان سکتا ہے کہ یہ بے مقصد نہیں ہے، نِرا کھیل اور محض ایک بے معنی طلسم نہیں ہے، بلکہ ایک مبنی بر حکمت نظام ہے جس میں انسان جیسی ذی اختیار مخلوق کا غیر جوابدہ ہونا اور بس یونہی مرکر مٹی ہو جانا ممکن نہیں ہے۔

  2. واضح رہے کہ یہاں توحید  اور حیات بعد الموت ، دونوں پر ایک ساتھ استدلال کیا جا رہا ہے ، اور آگے تک جن نشانیوں کی طرف توجہ دلائی گئی ہے اُن سے شرک کے ابطال اور انکارِ آخرت کے ابطال دونوں پر دلیل لائی جارہی ہے۔

اور وہی ہے جو زندہ رکھتا ہے اور موت دیتا ہے اور اسی کا کام ہے دن رات کو بدلنا تو کیا تم عقل سے کام نہیں لیتے

آیت 76 وَلَقَدْ اَخَذْنٰہُمْ بالْعَذَابِ ”اس سے مراد شاید قحط اور خشک سالی کا وہ عذاب ہے جس میں اہل مکہ کئی سال تک مبتلا رہے اور جس کی وجہ سے ہر شخص کو جان کے لالے پڑگئے تھے۔
