Surah 23, ayah 78

  1. وَهُوَاور وہ اللہ
  2. الَّذِیْۤوہ ذات ہے
  3. اَنْشَاَجس نے پیدا کیے
  4. لَكُمُتمہارے لیے
  5. السَّمْعَکان
  6. وَالْاَبْصَارَاور آنکھیں
  7. وَالْاَفْـِٕدَةَ ؕاور دل
  8. قَلِیْلًاکتنا کم ہے
  9. مَّاجو
  10. تَشْكُرُوْنَتم شکر ادا کرتے ہو

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

وہ اللہ ہی تو ہے جس نے تمہیں سُننے اور دیکھنے کی قوتیں دیں اور سوچنے کو دل دیے۔ مگر تم لوگ کم ہی شکر گزار ہوتے ہو۔1

  1. مطلب یہ ہے کہ بد نصیبو ، یہ آنکھ کان اور دل و دماغ تم کو کیا اس لیے دیے گئے تھے کہ ان سے بس و ہ کام لو جو حیوانات  لیتے ہیں؟ کیا ان کا صرف یہی مصرف ہے کہ تم جانوروں کی طرح جسم اور نفس کے مطالبات پورے کرنے کے ذرائع ہی تلاش کرتے رہو اور ہر وقت اپنا معیارِ زندگی بلند کرنے کی تدبیریں ہی سوچتے رہا کرو؟ کیا اس سے بڑھ کر بھی کوئی ناشکری ہو سکتی ہے کہ تم بنائے تو گئے تھے انسان اور بن  کر رہ گئے نرے حیوان؟ جن آنکھوں سے سب کچھ دیکھا جائے مگر حقیقت کی طرف رہنمائی کرنے والے نشانات ہی نہ دیکھے جائیں ، جن کانوں سے سب کچھ سُنا جائے مگر ایک سبق آموز بات ہی نہ سُنی جائے، اور جس دل و دماغ سے سب کچھ سوچا جا ئے مگر بس یہی نہ سوچا جائے کہ مجھے یہ وجود کیسے ملا ہے، کس لیےملا ہے اور کیا میری زندگی کی غایت ہے، حیف ہے اگر وہ پھر ایک بیل کے بجائے ایک انسان کے  ڈھانچے میں ہوں۔

اور وہی ہے جس نے تمہارے لیے بنائے ہیں کان آنکھیں اور عقل بہت کم ہے جو تم شکر ادا کرتے ہو

آیت 76 وَلَقَدْ اَخَذْنٰہُمْ بالْعَذَابِ ”اس سے مراد شاید قحط اور خشک سالی کا وہ عذاب ہے جس میں اہل مکہ کئی سال تک مبتلا رہے اور جس کی وجہ سے ہر شخص کو جان کے لالے پڑگئے تھے۔
