وَاِذْاور جب
بَوَّاْنَاجگہ مقرر کے دی ہم نے
لِاِبْرٰهِیْمَابراہیم کے لیے
مَكَانَجگہ
الْبَیْتِگھر کی
اَنْکہ
لَّانہ
تُشْرِكْتم شریک ٹھہراؤ
بِیْمیرے ساتھ
شَیْـًٔاکسی چیز کو
وَّطَهِّرْاور پاک کردو
بَیْتِیَمیرے گھر کو
لِلطَّآىِٕفِیْنَطواف کرنے والوں کے لیے
وَالْقَآىِٕمِیْنَاور کھڑے رہنے والوں کے لیے
وَالرُّكَّعِاور رکوع کرنے والوں کے لیے
السُّجُوْدِاور سجدہ کرنے والوں کے لیے

Tafheem-ul-Quran

یاد کرو وہ وقت جبکہ ہم نے ابراہیمؑ کے لیے اِس گھر (خانہ کعبہ)کی جگہ تجویز کی تھی اِس ہدایت کے ساتھ)کہ ”میرے ساتھ کسی چیز کو شریک نہ کرو، اور میرے گھر کو طواف کرنے والوں اور قیام و رکوع و سجود کرنے والوں کے لیے پاک رکھو،¹

بعض مفسرین نے ”پاک رکھو“ پر اُس فرمان کو ختم کر دیا ہے جو حضرت ابراہیم ؑ کو دیا گیا تھا، اور ”حج کے لیے اذنِ عام دے دو“ کا خطاب نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی طرف مانا ہے۔ لیکن اندازِکلام صاف بتا رہا ہے کہ یہ خطاب بھی حضرت ابراہیم ؑ ہی کی طرف ہے اور اُسی حکم کا ایک حصّہ ہے جو اُن کو خانۂ کعبہ کی تعمیر کے وقت دیا گیا تھا۔ علاوہ بریں مقصودِ کلام بھی یہاں یہی بتانا ہے کہ اوّل روز ہی سے یہ گھر خدائے واحد کی بندگی کے لیے تعمیر کیا گیا تھا اور تما م خدا پرستوں کو یہاں حج کے لیے آنے کا اذنِ عام تھا۔
