  2. خَصْمٰنِوہ گروہ ہیں
  3. اخْتَصَمُوْاجنہوں نے جھگڑا کیا

  5. رَبِّهِمْ ؗاپنے رب کے بارے
  6. فَالَّذِیْنَتو وہ لوگ جنہوں نے
  7. كَفَرُوْاکفر کیا
  8. قُطِّعَتْکاٹے جاچکے ہیں۔ کاٹے جائیں گے
  9. لَهُمْان کے لیے
  10. ثِیَابٌکپڑے
  11. مِّنْسے
  12. نَّارٍ ؕآگ
  13. یُصَبُّڈالا جائے گا
  14. مِنْسے
  15. فَوْقِاوپر
  16. رُءُوْسِهِمُان کے سروں کے
  17. الْحَمِیْمُکھولتا پانی

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

یہ دو فریق ہیں جن کے درمیان اپنے ربّ کے معاملے میں جھگڑا ہے۔1 اِن میں سے وہ لوگ جنہوں نے کُفر کیا اُن کے لیے آگ کے لباس کاٹے جا چکے ہیں،2 اُن کے سروں پر کھَولتا ہوا پانی ڈالا جائے گا

  1. یہاں خدا کے بارے میں جھگڑا کرنے والے تمام گروہوں کو ان کی کثرت کے باوجود دو فریقوں میں تقسیم کر دیا گیا ہے۔ ایک فریق وہ جو انبیاء کی بات مان کر خدا کی صحیح بندگی اختیار کرتا ہے۔ دوسرا وہ جو ان کی بات نہیں مانتا اور کفر کی راہ اختیار کرتا ہے ، خواہ اس کے اندر آپس میں کتنے ہی اختلافات ہوں اور اس کے کفر نے کتنی ہی مختلف صورتیں اختیار کر لی ہوں۔

  2. مستقبل میں جس چیز کا پیش آنا بالکل قطعی اور یقینی ہو اس کو زور دینے کے لیے اس طرح بیان کیا جاتا ہے کہ گویا وہ پیش آچکی ہے ۔ آگ کے کپڑوں سے مراد غالبًا وہی چیز ہے جسے سُورۂ ابراہیم آیت 5۰ میں  سَرَ ابِیْلُھُمْ مِنْ قَطِرَانٍ  فرمایا گیا ہے۔ تشریح کے لیے ملاحظہ ہو تفہیم القرآن ، ابراہیم، حاشیہ نمبر 58۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

یہ دو گروہ ہیں جو اپنے رب کے بارے میں جھگڑ رہے ہیں تو جو لوگ انکار کر رہے ہیں ان کے لیے آگ کے کپڑے قطع کیے جائیں گے ان کے سروں پر کھولتا ہوا پانی بہایا جائے گا

Commentary (one passage for ayahs 22:19, 22:20, 22:21)

آیت 19 ہٰذٰنِ خَصْمٰنِ اخْتَصَمُوْا فِیْ رَبِّہِمْز ”یہ سورت چونکہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کی مکی زندگی کے آخری دور میں نازل ہوئی تھی ‘ اس لیے ان گروہوں سے مکہ کے دو گروہ مراد ہیں۔ یعنی ایک مؤمنین کا گروہ جو حضور ﷺ پر ایمان لا چکا تھا اور دوسرا وہ گروہ جو اب تک آپ ﷺ کی مخالفت پر اڑا ہوا تھا۔ قبل ازیں آیت 11 کے ضمن میں وضاحت کی جا چکی ہے کہ سورة الحج مکی سورت ہے ‘ البتہ اس کی کچھ آیات ایسی ہیں جو سفر ہجرت کے دوران نازل ہوئیں تھیں۔ فَالَّذِیْنَ کَفَرُوْا قُطِّعَتْ لَہُمْ ثِیَابٌ مِّنْ نَّارٍ ط ”کپڑے کو قطع کرنے کا ذکر کر کے لباس تیار کرنے کے عمل کی طرف اشارہ کرنا مقصود ہے۔ یعنی جس طرح درزی پہلے مطلوبہ ناپ کے مطابق کپڑے کو کاٹتا ہے اور پھر لباس تیار کرتا ہے اسی طرح منکرین حق کے لیے جہنم کی آگ سے لباس تیار کیے جائیں گے۔
