- فَاسْتَجَبْنَاتو ہم نے دعا قبول کرلی
- لَهٗ ؗاس کی
- وَوَهَبْنَااور ہم نے عطا کیا
- لَهٗاس کو
- یَحْیٰییحییٰ
- وَاَصْلَحْنَااور درست کردی ہم نے
- لَهٗاس کے لیے
- زَوْجَهٗ ؕاس کی بیوی
- اِنَّهُمْیقینا وہ
- كَانُوْاتھے
- یُسٰرِعُوْنَجلدی کرتے
- فِیمیں
- الْخَیْرٰتِنیکیوں
- وَیَدْعُوْنَنَااور وہ پکارتے تھے ہم کو
- رَغَبًارغبت سے
- وَّرَهَبًا ؕاور خوف سے
- وَكَانُوْااور تھے وہ
- لَنَاہمارے ہی لیے
- خٰشِعِیْنَخشوع کرنے والے

تو ہم نے اس کی دعا قبول فرمائی اور اسے یحییٰ ؑ (جیسا بیٹا) عطا فرمایا اور اس کی بیوی کو اس کے لیے صحت مند بنا دیا یقیناً یہ لوگ ہیں جو بھلائی کے کاموں میں بہت جلدی کرتے تھے اور ہمیں پکارتے تھے رغبت اور خوف سے اور وہ سب ہمارے سامنے عاجزی اختیار کرنے والے تھے

Commentary
اِنَّہُمْ کَانُوْا یُسٰرِعُوْنَ فِی الْْخَیْرٰتِ وَیَدْعُوْنَنَا رَغَبًا وَّرَہَبًا ط ”اللہ تعالیٰ کے ساتھ ان کا معاملہ بین الخوف والرجاء خوف اور امید کے درمیان والا ہوتا تھا۔ اللہ کے مواخذے سے ڈرتے بھی تھے اور اس کی رحمت کے امیدوار بھی رہتے تھے۔وَکَانُوْا لَنَا خٰشِعِیْنَ ”اوصاف انبیاء علیہ السلام کے اس خوبصورت گلدستے کے آخر میں اب حضرت مریم سلامٌ علیہا کا ذکر آ رہا ہے۔
