- وَلُوْطًااور لوط کو
- اٰتَیْنٰهُعطا کیا ہم نے اس کو
- حُكْمًاحکم
- وَّعِلْمًااور علم
- وَّنَجَّیْنٰهُاور نجات دی ہم نے اس کو
- مِنَسے
- الْقَرْیَةِاس بستی
- الَّتِیْوہ جو
- كَانَتْتھی
- تَّعْمَلُعمل کرتی
- الْخَبٰٓىِٕثَ ؕبرے۔ خبیث کام
- اِنَّهُمْیقینا وہ
- كَانُوْاتھے
- قَوْمَلوگ ہی

اور لُوطؑ کو ہم نے حکم اور علم بخشا1 اور اُسے اُس بستی سے بچا کر نکال دیا جو بدکاریاں کرتی تھی۔۔۔۔ درحقیقت وہ بڑی ہی بُری ، فاسق قوم تھی

”حکم اور علم بخشنا“ بالعموم قرآن مجید میں نبوت عطا کر نے کے ہم معنی ہوتا ہے۔ ”حکم“ سے مراد حکمت بھی ہے، صحیح قوت فیصلہ بھی ، اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے سند حکمرانی (Authority ) حاصل ہونا بھی۔ رہا ”علم“ تو اس سے مراد وہ علم حق ہے جو وحی کےذریعہ عطا کیا گیا ہو۔ حضرت لوط ؑ کے متعلق مزید تفصیلات کے لیے ملاحظہ ہو۔ الاعراف ، آیات 8۰ تا 84۔ ھود ، آیات ۶9 تا 83 ۔ الحِجر ، آیات 57 تا 7۶۔
