  1. وَاِذَااور جب
  2. رَاٰكَدیکھتے ہیں تجھ کو
  3. الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگ
  4. كَفَرُوْۤاجنہوں نے کفر کیا
  5. اِنْنہیں
  6. یَّتَّخِذُوْنَكَوہ بناتے تیرا
  7. اِلَّامگر
  8. هُزُوًا ؕمذاق
  9. اَهٰذَاکیا یہ ہے
  10. الَّذِیْوہ شخص
  11. یَذْكُرُجو ذکر کرتا ہے
  12. اٰلِهَتَكُمْ ۚتمہارے الہوں کا
  13. وَهُمْحالانکہ وہ
  14. بِذِكْرِذکر کے
  15. الرَّحْمٰنِرحمن کے
  16. هُمْساتھ وہ
  17. كٰفِرُوْنَانکاری ہیں

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

یہ منکرینِ حق جب تمہیں دیکھتے ہیں تو تمہارا مذاق بنا لیتے ہیں۔ کہتے ہیں”کیا یہ ہے وہ شخص جو تمہارے خداوٴں کا ذکر کیا کرتا ہے؟“1 اور ان کا اپنا حال یہ ہے کہ رحمٰن کے ذکر سے منکر ہیں۔2

  1. یعنی برائی کے ساتھ اُن کا ذکر کرتا ہے۔ یہاں  اتنی بات اور سمجھ لینی چاہیے کہ یہ فقرہ ان ے مذاق کا مضمون نہیں بتا رہا ہے، بلکہ مذاق اُڑانے کی وجہ اور بنیاد پر روشنی ڈال رہا ہے۔ ظاہر ہے کہ یہ فقرہ بجائے خود کوئی مذاق کا فقرہ نہیں ہے۔ مذاق تو وہ دوسرے ہی الفاظ میں اُڑاتے ہوں گے اور کچھ اور ہی طرح کے آوازے کستے اور فقرے چُست کرتے ہوں گے۔ البتہ یہ سارا دل کا بخار جس وجہ سے نکالا جاتاتھا وہ یہ تھی کہ آپ ان کو خود ساختہ معبودوں کی خدائی کا رد کرتے تھے۔

  2. یعنی بتُوں اور بناوٹی خداؤں کی مخالفت تو انہیں اس قدر ناگوار ہے کہ اس کا بدلہ لینے کے لیے تمہاری تضحیک و تذلیل کرتے ہیں ، مگر انہیں خود اپنے حال پر شرم نہیں آتی کہ خدا سے پھرے ہوئے ہیں اور اس کا ذکر سُن کر آگ بگولا ہو جاتے ہیں۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور (اے نبی ﷺ !) یہ کافر لوگ جب بھی آپ کو دیکھتے ہیں تو آپ کا مذاق اڑاتے ہیں اور وہ خود رحمن کے ذکر سے منکر ہیں کیا یہ ہے وہ شخص جو تمہارے معبودوں کا ذکر کرتا ہے

Commentary

آیت 36 وَاِذَا رَاٰکَ الَّذِیْنَ کَفَرُوْٓا اِنْ یَّتَّخِذُوْنَکَ اِلَّا ہُزُوًا ط ”یہ مشرکین مختلف انداز میں آپ ﷺ پر استہزائیہ فقرے کستے ہیں ‘ آپ ﷺ کو دیکھتے ہیں تو ایک دوسرے سے مخاطب ہو کر اس طرح آپ ﷺ کا تمسخر اڑاتے ہیں :اَہٰذَا الَّذِیْ یَذْکُرُ اٰلِہَتَکُمْ ج ”یعنی کہتا ہے کہ ان کی کوئی حقیقت نہیں۔ اور اس طرح ان کی شان میں گستاخی کا ارتکاب کرتا ہے !وَہُمْ بِذِکْرِ الرَّحْمٰنِ ہُمْ کٰفِرُوْنَ ”انہیں تو اپنے معبودوں کا ذکر اچھا لگتا ہے۔ لات و عزیٰ کا ذکر ہو تو یہ لوگ خوش ہوتے ہیں اور اللہ تعالیٰ کے ذکر سے ان کے دل بجھ جاتے ہیں۔
