  19. یَعْلَمُوْنَ ۙعلم رکھتے
  20. الْحَقَّحق کا
  21. فَهُمْتو وہ
  22. مُّعْرِضُوْنَاعراض برتنے والے ہیں

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

کیا اُسے چھوڑ کر انہوں نے دوسرے خدا بنا لیے ہیں؟ اے محمد ؐ ، ان سے کہو کہ ”لاوٴ اپنی دلیل، یہ کتاب بھی موجود ہے جس میں میرے دور کے لوگوں کے لیے نصیحت ہے اور وہ کتابیں بھی موجود ہیں جن میں مجھ سے پہلے لوگوں کے لیے نصیحت تھی۔“1 مگر ان میں سے اکثر لوگ حقیقت سے بے خبر ہیں، اس لیے منہ موڑے ہوئے ہیں۔2

  1. پہلے دو استدلال عقلی تھے۔ اور یہ استدلال  نقلی ہے۔ اِس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ آج تک جتنی کتابیں بھی خدا کی طرف سے دنیا  کے کسی ملک میں کسی قوم کے پیغمبر پر نازل ہوئی ہیں ، ان میں سے کسی میں یہ نکال کر دکھا دو کہ ایک اللہ، خالقِ زمین و آسمان  کے سوا کوئی دوسرا بھی خدائی کا کوئی شائبہ رکھتا ہے اور کسی اور کو بھی بندگی و عبادت کا حق پہنچتا ہے ۔ پھر یہ کیسا مذہب تم لوگوں نے بنا رکھا ہے  جس کی تائید میں نہ عقل سے کوئی دلیل ہے اور نہ آسمانی کتابیں ہی جس کے لیے کوئی شہادت فراہم کرتی ہیں۔

  2. یعنی نبی کی بات پر اِن کا توجہ نہ کران علم پر نہیں بلکہ جہل پر مبنی ہے۔ حقیقت سے بے خبر ہیں اس لیے سمجھانے والے کی بات کو ناقابلِ التفات سمجھتے ہیں۔
