  2. اَرْسَلْنٰكَبھیجا ہم نے آپ کو

  4. رَحْمَةًرحمت بنا کر
  5. لِّلْعٰلَمِیْنَجہان والوں کے لیے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اے محمدؐ ، ہم نے جو تم کو بھیجا ہے تو یہ دراصل دنیا والوں کے حق میں ہماری رحمت ہے۔1

  1. دوسرا ترجمہ یہ بھی ہو سکتا ہے کہ ” ہم نے تم کو دنیا والوں کے لیے رحمت ہی بنا کر بھیجا ہے “۔ دونوں صورتوں میں مطلب یہ ہے کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی بعثت دراصل نوع انسانی کے لیے خدا کی رحمت اور مہربانی ہے ، کیونکہ آپ نے آکر غفلت میں پڑی ہوئی دنیا کو چونکا یا ہے، اور اسے وہ علم دیا ہے جو حق اور باطل کا فرق واضح کرتا ہے ، اور اس کو بالکل غیر مشتبہ طریقہ سے بتا دیا ہے کہ اس کے لیے تباہی کی راہ کونسی ہے اور سلامتی کی راہ کونسی ۔ کفارِ مکّہ حضور ؐ  کی بعثت کو اپنے لیے زحمت اور مصیبت سمجھتے تھے اور کہتے تھے کہ اس شخص نےہماری قوم میں پھُوٹ ڈال دی ہے، ناخُن سے گوشت جدا کر  کے رکھ دیا ہے۔ اس پر فرمایا  گیا کہ نادانو، تم جسے زحمت سمجھ رہے ہو یہ درحقیقت  تمہارے لیے  خدا کی رحمت ہے۔
