  1. كَذٰلِكَاسی طرح
  2. نَقُصُّہم بیان کرتے ہیں
  3. عَلَیْكَتجھ پر
  4. مِنْسے
  5. اَنْۢبَآءِخبروں میں سے

  7. قَدْتحقیق
  8. سَبَقَ ۚگزر چکیں
  9. وَقَدْاور تحقیق
  10. اٰتَیْنٰكَدیا ہم نے تجھ کو
  11. مِنْسے
  12. لَّدُنَّااپنے پاس سے
  13. ذِكْرًاایک ذکر

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اے محمدؐ،1 اس طرح ہم پچھلے گزرے ہوئے حالات کی خبریں تم کو سُناتے ہیں، اور ہم نے خاص اپنے ہاں سے تم کو ایک”ذِکر“ (درسِ نصیحت)عطا کیا ہے۔2

  1. موسیٰ علیہ السّلام کا قصہ ختم کر کے اب پھر تقریر کا رُخ اُس مضمون کی طرف مڑتا ہے  جس سے سورہ کا آغاز ہوا تھا۔ آگے بڑھنے سے پہلے ایک مرتبہ پلٹ کر سورہ کی اُن ابتدائی آیات کو پڑھ لیجیے جن کے بعد یکایک حضرت موسیٰ  کا قصہ شروع ہو گیا تھا۔ اس سے آپ کی سمجھ میں اچھی طرح یہ بات آجائے گی کہ سورہ کا اصل موضوع ِ بحث کیا ہے، بیچ میں قصۂ موسیٰ کس لیے بیان ہوا ہے، اور اب قصّہ ختم کر کے کس طرح تقریر اپنے موضوع کی طرف پلٹ رہی ہے۔

  2. یعنی یہ قرآن ، جس کے متعلق آغازِ سورہ میں کہا گیا تھا کہ یہ کوئی اَن ہونا کام تم سے لینے اور تم کو بیٹھے بٹھائے ایک مشقت میں مبتلا کرنے کر دینے کےلیے نازل نہیں کیا گیا ہے، یہ تو ایک یاد دہانی اور نصیحت (تذکرہ) ہے ہر اُس شخص کے لیے جس کے دل میں خدا کا کچھ خوف ہو۔

(تواے نبی ﷺ !) اس طرح ہم سنا رہے ہیں آپ کو حالات اس (زمانے) کے جو گزر چکا ہے اور ہم نے آپ ﷺ کو خاص اپنے پاس سے ذکرعطا کیا ہے

آیت 99 کَذٰلِکَ نَقُصُّ عَلَیْکَ مِنْ اَنْبَآءِ مَا قَدْ سَبَقَ ج ”اس طرح بذریعہ وحی پچھلی اقوام کے تفصیلی حالات حضور ﷺ کو فراہم کیے جا رہے ہیں۔وَقَدْ اٰتَیْنٰکَ مِنْ لَّدُنَّا ذِکْرًا ”ہم نے اپنے فضل خاص سے آپ ﷺ کو یہ قرآن عطا کیا ہے۔ اس میں پچھلے زمانے کی خبریں بھی ہیں اور یاد دہانی اور تذکیر و نصیحت بھی۔
