Commentary
آیت 83 وَمَآ اَعْجَلَکَ عَنْ قَوْمِکَ یٰمُوْسٰی ”اس سے پہلے سورة مریم کی آیت 64 اور آیت 84 میں عجلت سے منع کیا جا چکا ہے۔ آیت 64 میں حضور ﷺ کو بالواسطہ انداز میں فرمایا گیا کہ آپ ﷺ وحی کے جلد آنے کے بارے میں خواہش نہ کیا کریں ‘ کیونکہ یہ تو اللہ کی مشیت کے مطابق ہی نازل ہوگی۔ چناچہ فرشتے کی زبان سے آپ ﷺ کو مخاطب کر کے کہلوایا گیا : وَمَا نَتَنَزَّلُ اِلَّا بِاَمْرِ رَبِّکَ ج کہ ہم تو آپ ﷺ کے رب کے حکم سے ہی نازل ہوتے ہیں۔ جبکہ آیت 84 میں آپ ﷺ کو مخاطب کر کے فرمایا گیا : فَلَا تَعْجَلْ عَلَیْہِمْ ط ”تو آپ ﷺ ان پر عذاب کے بارے میں جلدی نہ کریں“۔ اب آیت زیر نظر میں جلدی کرنے پر حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام سے جواب طلبی ہو رہی ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام کو تورات دینے کے لیے ایک معین وقت پر کوہ طور پر بلایا تو آپ علیہ السلام فرط اشتیاق سے قبل از وقت وہاں پہنچ گئے۔ اس پر آپ علیہ السلام سے پوچھا گیا کہ آپ علیہ السلام اپنی قوم کو پیچھے چھوڑ کر وقت سے پہلے یہاں کیوں آگئے ہیں ؟
