  1. فَتَنَازَعُوْۤاتو وہ جھگڑنے لگے
  2. اَمْرَهُمْاپنے معاملے میں
  3. بَیْنَهُمْآپس میں
  4. وَاَسَرُّوااور انہوں نے چپکے چپکے کی
  5. النَّجْوٰیسرگوشی

Tafheem-ul-Quran

یہ سُن کر اُن کے درمیان اختلافِ رائے ہوگیا اور وہ چُپکے چُپکے باہم مشورہ کرنے لگے۔1

  1. اِس سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ یہ لوگ اپنے دلوں میں اپنی کمزوری کو خود محسُوس کررہےتھے۔ ان کو معلوم تھا کہ حضرت موسیٰ نے جو کچھ دکھایا ہے وہ جادو نہیں ہے۔ وہ پہلے ہی سے اس مقابلے میں ڈرتے اور ہچکچاتے ہوئے آئے تھے ، اور جب عین موقع پر حضرت موسیٰ نے ان کو للکار کر متنبہ کیا تو ان کا عزم یکایک متزلزل ہو گیا۔ ان کا اختلاف رائے اس امر میں ہوا ہوگا کہ آیا اِس بڑے تہوار کے موقع پر ، جبکہ پورے ملک سے آئے ہوئے آدمی اکٹھے ہیں، کھلے میدان  اور دن کی پوری روشنی میں یہ مقابلہ کرنا ٹھیک ہے یا نہیں۔ اگر یہاں ہم شکست کھا گئے اور سب کے سامنے جادو اور معجزے کا فرق کھل گیا تو پھر بات سنبھالے نہ سنبھل سکے گی۔
