  1. وَاْمُرْاور حکم دو
  2. اَهْلَكَاپنے گھر والوں کو
  3. بِالصَّلٰوةِنماز کا
  4. وَاصْطَبِرْاور جمے رہو
  5. عَلَیْهَا ؕاس پر
  6. لَانہیں
  7. نَسْـَٔلُكَہم سوال کرتے تجھ سے
  8. رِزْقًا ؕرزق کا
  9. نَحْنُہم
  10. نَرْزُقُكَ ؕہم رزق دیتے ہیں تجھ کو
  11. وَالْعَاقِبَةُاور انجام
  12. لِلتَّقْوٰیتقوی ہی کے لیے ہے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اپنے اہل و عیال کو نماز کی تلقین کرو1 اور خود بھی اُس کے پابند رہو۔ ہم تم سے کوئی رزق نہیں چاہتے، رزق تو ہم ہی تمہیں دے رہے ہیں۔ اور انجام کی بھلائی تقویٰ ہی کے لیے ہے۔2

  1. یعنی تمہارے بال بچے بھی اپنی تنگ دستی و خستہ حالی کے مقابلہ میں اِن حرام خوروں کے عیش و عشرت کو دیکھ کر دل شکستہ نہ ہوں۔ ان کو تلقین کرو کہ نماز پڑھیں۔ یہ چیز اُن کے زاویۂ نظر  کو بدل دے گی۔ ان کے معیارِ قدر کو بدل دے گی ۔ ان کی تو جہالت کا مرکز بدل دے گی۔ وہ پاک رزق پر صابر و قانع ہو جائیں گےاور اُس بھلائی کو جو ایمان و تقویٰ سے حاصل ہوتی ہے اُس عیش پر ترجیح دینے لگیں گے جو فسق و فجور اور دنیا پرستی سے حاصل ہوتا ہے۔

  2. یعنی ہم نماز پڑھنے کے لیے تم سے اس لیے نہیں کہتے ہیں کہ اس سے ہمارا کوئی فائدہ ہے۔ فائدہ تمہارا اپنا ہی ہے، اور وہ یہ ہے کہ تم میں تقویٰ پیدا ہو گا جو دنیا اورآخرت دونوں ہی میں آخری اور مستقل کامیابی کا وسیلہ ہے۔
