- تَقْتُلُوْنَتم قتل کرتے رہے

Translation and commentary
Tafheem-ul-Quran
ہم نے موسیٰ ؑ کو کتاب دی، اس کے بعد پے در پے رسُول بھیجے، آخر کار عیسٰی ابنِ مر یم کو روشن نشانیاں دے کر بھیجا اور رُوحِ پاک سے اس کی مدد کی۔1 پھر یہ تمہارا کیا ڈھنگ ہے کہ جب بھی کوئی رسُول تمہاری خواہشات نفس کے خلاف کوئی چیز لے کر تمہارے پاس آیا، تو تم نے اس کے مقابلے میں سر کشی ہی کی، کسی کو جھٹلایا اور کسی کو قتل کر ڈالا!

” رُوحِ پاک“ سے مُراد علمِ وحی بھی ہے، اور جبریل بھی جو وحی کا علم لاتے تھے اور خود حضرت مسیح ؑ کی اپنی پاکیزہ رُوح بھی ، جس کو اللہ نے قدسی صفات بنایا تھا۔ ”روشن نشانیوں“ سے مُراد وہ کھلی کھلی علامات ہیں، جنہیں دیکھ کر ہر صداقت پسند طالب ِ حق انسان یہ جان سکتا تھا کہ مسیح علیہ السّلام اللہ کے نبی ہیں۔
