اللہ نے مہر کردی ہے ان کے دلوں پر اور ان کے کانوں پر۔ ) اور ان کی آنکھوں کے سامنے پردہ پڑچکا ہے اور ان کے لیے بہت بڑا عذاب ہے۔

Commentary
آیت 7 خَتَمَ اللّٰہُ عَلٰی قُلُوْبِھِمْ وَعَلٰی سَمْعِھِمْ ط ایسا کیوں ہوا ؟ ان کے دلوں پر اور ان کے کانوں پر مہر ابتدا ہی میں نہیں لگا دی گئی ‘ بلکہ جب انہوں نے حق کو پہچاننے کے بعدردّکر دیا تو اس کی پاداش میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان کے دلوں پر مہر کردی اور ان کی سماعت پر بھی۔ وَعَلٰی اَبْصَارِھِمْ غِشَاوَۃٌز یہ مضمون سورة یٰسٓ کے شروع میں بہت شرح و بسط کے ساتھ دوبارہ آئے گا۔ وَّلَھُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِیْمٌ ‘ یہ دوسرے گروہ کا تذکرہ ہوگیا۔ ایک رکوع کل سات آیات میں دو گروہوں کا ذکر سمیٹ لیا گیا۔ ایک وہ گروہ جس نے قرآن کریم کی دعوت سے صحیح صحیح استفادہ کیا ‘ ان میں طلب ہدایت کا مادہ موجود تھا ‘ ان کی فطرتیں سلیم تھیں ‘ ان کے سامنے دعوت آئی تو انہوں نے قبول کی اور قرآن کے بتائے ہوئے راستے پر چلے۔ وہ گلستان محمدی ﷺ کے گل سرسبد ہیں۔ وہ شجرۂ قرآنی کے نہایت مبارک اور مقدس پھل ہیں۔ دوسرا گروہ وہ ہے جس نے حق کو پہچان بھی لیا ‘ لیکن اپنے تعصبّ یا ہٹ دھرمی کی وجہ سے اس کو ردّ کردیا۔ ان کا ذکر بھی بہت اختصار کے ساتھ آگیا۔ ان کا تفصیلی ذکر آپ کو مکی سورتوں میں ملے گا۔ اب آگے تیسرے گروہ کا ذکر آ رہا ہے۔
