- فَوَیْلٌپس ہلاکت ہے ان لوگوں کے لئے
- لِّلَّذِیْنَان لوگوں کے لئیے
- یَكْتُبُوْنَجو لکھتے ہیں
- الْكِتٰبَکتاب کو
- بِاَیْدِیْهِمْ ۗساتھ اپنے ہاتھوں کے
- ثُمَّپھر
- یَقُوْلُوْنَوہ کہتے ہیں
- هٰذَایہ
- مِنْسے
- عِنْدِطرف
- اللّٰهِاللہ کے
- لِیَشْتَرُوْاتاکہ وہ لیں
- بِهٖبدلے اس کے
- ثَمَنًاقیمت
- قَلِیْلًا ؕتھوڑی
- فَوَیْلٌپس ہلاکت ہے
- لَّهُمْان کے لئے
- مِّمَّااس سے جو
- كَتَبَتْلکھا
- اَیْدِیْهِمْان کے ہاتھوں سے
- وَوَیْلٌاورہلاکت ہے

پس ہلاکت اور تباہی ہے اُن لوگوں کیلے جو اپنے ہاتھوں سے شرع کا نوشتہ لکھتے ہیں پھر لوگوں سے کہتے ہیں کہ یہ اللہ کے پاس سے آیا ہوا ہے تاکہ اس کے معاوضے میں تھوڑا سا فائدہ حاصل کر لیں1۔ اُن کے ہاتھوں کا یہ لکھا بھی ان کے لیے تباہی کا سامان ہے اور ان کی یہ کمائی بھی ان کے لیے موجبِ ہلاکت

یہ اُن کے علما کے متعلق ارشاد ہو رہا ہے ۔ ان لوگوں نے صرف اتنا ہی نہیں کیا کہ کلامِ الہٰی کے معانی کو اپنی خواہشات کے مطابق بدلا ہو، بلکہ یہ بھی کیا کہ بائیبل میں اپنی تفسیروں کو، اپنی قومی تاریخ کو، اپنے اوہام اور قیاسات کو، اپنے خیالی فلسفوں کو، اور اپنے اجتہاد سے وضع کیے ہوئے فقہی قوانین کو کلامِ الہٰی کے ساتھ خلط ملط کر دیا اور یہ ساری چیزیں لوگوں کے سامنے اس حیثیت سے پیش کیں کہ گویا یہ سب اللہ ہی کی طرف سے آئی ہوئی ہیں۔ ہر تاریخی افسانہ، ہر مُفَسِّر کی تاویل، ہر مُتَکلِّم کا الہٰیاتی عقیدہ، اور ہر فقیہ کا قانونی اجتہاد ، جس نے مجمُوعہٴ کتبِ مقدّسہ (بائیبل) میں جگہ پالی، اللہ کا قَول(Word of God ) بن کر رہ گیا۔ اُس پر ایمان لانا فرض ہو گیا اور اس سے پھرنے کے معنی دین سے پھر جانے کے ہو گئے۔
