- لَنَاہمارے لئے
- رَبَّكَاپنے رب سے

- مَاکیسا ہو
- لَوْنُهَا ؕرنگ اس کا

- اِنَّهَابیشک وہ
- بَقَرَةٌایک گائے ہو
- صَفْرَآءُ ۙزرد رنگ کی

Bayan-ul-Quran
اب انہوں نے کہا (ذرا ایک دفعہ پھر) ہمارے لیے دعا کیجیے اپنے رب سے کہ وہ ہمیں بتادے کہ اس کا رنگ کیسا ہو۔ فرمایا : اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے وہ گائے ہونی چاہیے زرد رنگ کی جس کا رنگ ایسا شوخ ہو کہ دیکھنے والوں کو خوب اچھی لگے۔

Commentary
قَالُوا ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّکَ یُبَیِّنْ لَّنَا مَا لَوْنُہَا ط قَالَ اِنَّہٗ یَقُوْلُ اِنَّہَا بَقَرَۃٌ صَفْرَآءُلا فاقِعٌ لَّوْنُہَا تَسُرُّ النّٰظِرِیْنَ ”یہ خوبیاں اس گائے کی تھیں جو ان کے ہاں زیادہ سے زیادہ مقدس سمجھی جاتی تھی۔ اگر پہلے ہی حکم پر وہ عمل پیرا ہوجاتے تو کسی بھی گائے کو ذبح کرسکتے تھے۔ لیکن یکے بعد دیگرے سوالات کے باعث رفتہ رفتہ ان کا گھیراؤ ہوتا گیا کہ جس گائے کے تقدس کا تأثر ان کے ذہن میں زیادہ سے زیادہ تھا اسی کو focus کردیا گیا۔
