یقیناً جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا (یعنی وہ لوگ کہ جو کفر پر اڑ گئے) ان کے لیے برابر ہے (اے محمد ﷺ کہ آپ انہیں انذار فرمائیں یا نہ فرمائیں وہ ایمان لانے والے نہیں ہیں۔

Commentary
آیت 6 اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ کَفَرُوْا سَوَآءٌ عَلَیْھِمْ ءَ اَنْذَرْتَھُمْ اَمْ لَمْ تُنْذِرْھُمْ لَا یُؤْمِنُوْنَ ”اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ کَفَرُوْا“ سے مراد یہاں وہ لوگ ہیں جو اپنے کفر پر اڑ گئے۔ اس کو ہم تاویل عام میں نہیں لے سکتے۔ اس لیے کہ اس صورت میں تو اس کے معنی یہ ہوں گے کہ جس شخص نے کسی بھی وقت کفر کیا اب وہ ہدایت پر آہی نہیں سکتا ! یہاں یہ بات مراد نہیں ہے۔ اگر کوئی شخص کسی مغالطہ کی بنا پر یا عدم توجہی کی بنا پر کفر میں ہے ‘ حق اس پر واضح نہیں ہوا ہے تو انذار وتبشیر سے اسے فائدہ ہوجائے گا۔ آپ اسے وعظ و نصیحت کریں تو وہ اس کا اثر قبول کرے گا۔ لیکن جو لوگ حق کو حق سمجھنے اور پہچاننے کے باوجود محض ضد ‘ ہٹ دھرمی اور تعصبّ کی وجہ سے یا تکبرّ اور حسد کی وجہ سے کفر پر اڑے رہے تو ان کی قسمت میں ہدایت نہیں ہے۔ ایسے لوگوں کا معاملہ یہ ہے کہ اے نبی ﷺ ! ان کے لیے برابر ہے خواہ آپ ﷺ انہیں سمجھائیں یا نہ سمجھائیں ‘ ڈرائیں یا نہ ڈرائیں ‘ انذار فرمائیں یا نہ فرمائیں ‘ وہ ایمان لانے والے نہیں ہیں۔ اس لیے کہ سوتے کو تو جگایا جاسکتا ہے ‘ جاگتے کو آپ کیسے جگائیں گے ؟ یہ گویا مکہ کے سرداروں کی طرف اشارہ ہو رہا ہے کہ ان کے دل اور دماغ گواہی دے چکے ہیں کہ محمد ﷺ اللہ کے رسول ہیں اور قرآن ان پر اتمام حجت کرچکا ہے اور وہ مان چکے ہیں کہ قرآن کا مقابلہ ہم نہیں کرسکتے ‘ یہ محمد ﷺ کا مکمل معجزہ ہے ‘ اس کے باوجود وہ ایمان نہیں لائے۔
