Commentary
آیت 59 فَبَدَّلَ الَّذِیْنَ ظَلَمُوْا قَوْلاً غَیْرَ الَّذِیْ قِیْلَ لَہُمْ “ان میں سے جو ظالم تھے ‘ بدکردار تھے انہوں نے ایک اور قول اختیار کرلیا اس قول کی جگہ جو ان سے کہا گیا تھا۔ ان سے کہا گیا تھا کہ ”حِطَّۃٌ حِطَّۃٌ“ کہتے ہوئے داخل ہونا ‘ لیکن انہوں نے اس کی بجائے ”حِنْطَۃٌ حِنْطَۃٌ“ کہنا شروع کردیا ‘ یعنی ہمیں تو گیہوں چاہیے ‘ گیہوں چاہیے ! اگلے رکوع میں یہ بات آجائے گی کہ مَنّ وسلویٰ کھاتے کھاتے بنی اسرائیل کی طبیعتیں بھر گئی تھیں ‘ ایک ہی چیز کھا کھا کر وہ اکتا گئے تھے اور اب وہ کہہ رہے تھے کہ ہمیں زمین کی روئیدگی اور پیداوار میں سے کوئی چیز کھانے کو ملنی چاہیے۔ اس خواہش کا اظہار ان کی زبانوں پر ”حِنْطَۃٌ حِنْطَۃٌ“ کی صورت میں آگیا۔ اس طرح انہوں نے اللہ تعالیٰ کے اس حکم کا استہزاء و تمسخر کیا جو انہیں ”وَقُوْلُوْا حِطَّۃٌ“ کے الفاظ میں دیا گیا تھا۔ اسی طرح شہر میں سجدہ ریز ہوتے ہوئے داخل ہونے کی بجائے انہوں نے اپنے سرینوں پر پھسلنا شروع کیا۔فَاَنْزَلْنَا عَلَی الَّذِیْنَ ظَلَمُوْا رِجْزًا مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ “ جن ظالموں نے اللہ تعالیٰ کے حکم کا استہزاء و تمسخر کیا تھا ان پر آسمان سے ایک بہت بڑا عذاب نازل ہوا۔ تورات سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ اریحا شہر میں پہنچنے کے بعد انہیں طاعون کی وبا نے آلیا اور جنہوں نے یہ حرکت کی تھی وہ سب کے سب ہلاک ہوگئے۔بِمَا کَانُوْا یَفْسُقُوْنَ ”“ یہ ان نافرمانیوں اور حکم عدولیوں کی سزا تھی جو وہ کر رہے تھے۔
