- وَاِذْاور جب
- قُلْتُمْکہا تم نے
- یٰمُوْسٰیاے موسیٰ
- لَنْہرگز نہیں
- نُّؤْمِنَہم ایمان لائیں گے / ہم اعتبار کریں گے
- لَكَواسطے تیرے
- حَتّٰییہاں تک
- نَرَیہم دیکھ لیں
- اللّٰهَاللہ کو
- جَهْرَةًسامنے / ظاہر / روبرو
- فَاَخَذَتْكُمُپس پکڑ لیا تم کو
- الصّٰعِقَةُکڑک نے
- وَاَنْتُمْاس حال میں تم
- تَنْظُرُوْنَتم دیکھ رہے تھے

اور یاد کرو جبکہ تم نے کہا تھا اے موسیٰ ؑ ! ہم تمہارا ہرگز یقین نہیں کریں گے جب تک ہم اللہ کو سامنے نہ دیکھ لیں تو تمہیں آپکڑا ایک بہت بڑی کڑک نے اور تم دیکھ رہے تھے

Commentary
آیت 55 وَاِذْ قُلْتُمْ یٰمُوْسٰی لَنْ نُّؤْمِنَ لَکَ حَتّٰی نَرَی اللّٰہَ جَہْرَۃً اٰمَنَ یُؤْمِنُ کے بعد ”بِ“ کا صلہ ہو تو اس کے معنی ایمان لانے کے ہوتے ہیں ‘ جبکہ ”لِ“ کے صلہ کے ساتھ اس کے معنی صرف تصدیق کے ہوتے ہیں۔ بنی اسرائیل نے حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام سے کہا تھا کہ ہم آپ کی بات کی تصدیق نہیں کریں گے جب تک ہم اپنی آنکھوں سے اللہ کو آپ سے کلام کرتے نہ دیکھ لیں۔ ہم کیسے یقین کرلیں کہ اللہ نے یہ کتاب آپ کو دی ہے ؟ آپ علیہ السلام تو ہمارے سامنے پتھر کی کچھ تختیاں لے کر آگئے ہیں جن پر کچھ لکھا ہوا ہے۔ ہمیں کیا پتا کہ یہ کس نے لکھا ہے ؟ دیکھئے ‘ ایک خواہش حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام کی بھی تھی کہ رَبِّ اَرِنِیْ اَنْظُرْ اِلَیْکَ ط الاعراف : 143 ”اے میرے ربّ ! مجھے یارائے نظر دے کہ میں تجھ کو دیکھوں“۔ وہ کچھ اور شے تھی ‘ وہ ع ”تو میرا شوق دیکھ مرا انتظار دیکھ !“ کی کیفیت تھی ‘ لیکن یہ تخریبی ذہن کی سوچ ہے کہ ہم بھی چاہتے ہیں کہ اللہ کو اپنی آنکھوں سے دیکھیں اور ہمیں معلوم ہو کہ واقعی اس نے آپ کو یہ کتاب دی ہے۔فَاَخَذَتْکُمُ الصّٰعِقَۃُ وَاَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُوْنَ ”“۔تمہارے دیکھتے دیکھتے ایک بہت بڑی کڑک نے تمہیں آلیا اور تم سب کے سب مردہ ہوگئے۔
