Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

تم نے جو کچھ بھی خرچ کیا ہو اور جو نظر بھی مانی ہو ، اللہ کو اُس کا علم ہے، اور ظالموں کا کوئی مدد گار نہیں۔1

  1. خرچ خواہ راہِ خدا میں کیا ہو یا راہِ شیطان میں ، اور نذر خواہ اللہ کے لیے مانی ہو یا غیر اللہ کے لیے، دونوں صُورتوں میں آدمی کی نیّت اور س کے فعل سے اللہ خوب واقف ہے۔ جنہوں نے اُس کے لیے خرچ کیا ہوگا اور اس کی خاطر نذر مانی ہوگی، وہ اس کا اجر پائیں گے اور جن ظالموں نے شیطانی راہوں میں خرچ کیا ہو گا اور اللہ کو چھوڑ کر دُوسروں کے لیے نذر مانی ہوں گی اُن کو خدا کی سزا سے بچانے کے لیے کوئی مددگار نہ ملے گا۔ نذر  یہ ہے کہ آدمی اپنی کسی مُراد کے بر آنے پر کسی ایسے خرچ یا کسی ایسی خدمت کو اپنے اُوپر لازم کر لے ، جو اس کے ذمّے فرض نہ ہو۔ اگر یہ مراد کسی حلال و جائز امر کی ہو، اور اللہ سے مانگی گئی ہو، اور اس کے بر آنے پر جو عمل کرنے کا عہد آدمی نے کیا ہے، وہ اللہ ہی کے لیے ہو، تو ایسی نذر اللہ کی اطاعت میں ہے اور اس کا پورا کرنا اجر و ثواب کا موجب ہے۔ اگر یہ صُورت نہ ہو  ، تو ایسی نذر کا ماننا معصیت اور اس کا پُورا کرنا مُوجبِ عذاب ہے۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور جو کچھ بھی تم خرچ کرتے ہو (صدقہ و خیرات دیتے ہو) یا جو بھی تم (اللہ کے نام پر) منتّ مانتے ہو تو یقیناً اللہ تعالیٰ اس سب کو جانتا ہے اور (یاد رکھو کہ) ظالموں کا کوئی مددگار نہیں ہوگا

آیت 269 یُّؤْتِی الْحِکْمَۃَ مَنْ یَّشَآءُ ج۔ یہ حکمت کی باتیں ہیں ‘ جن کا سمجھنا ہر کس و ناکس کے لیے ممکن نہیں۔ ایک چیزوں کا ظاہر ہے اور ایک باطن ہے ‘ جو حکمت سے نظر آتا ہے۔ ظاہر تو سب کو نظر آ رہا ہے ‘ لیکن کسی شے کی حقیقت کیا ہے ‘ یہ بہت کم لوگوں کو معلوم ہے : ؂اے اہل نظر ! ذوق نظر خوب ہے لیکن جو شے کی حقیقت کو نہ دیکھے وہ نظر کیا ؟جس کسی پر یہ حقیقت عیاں ہوجاتی ہے وہ حکیم ہے۔ اور حکمت اصل میں انسان کی عقل اور شعور کی پختگی کا نام ہے۔ استحکام اسی حکمت سے ہی بنا ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ عقل و فہم اور شعور کی یہ پختگی اور حقائق تک پہنچ جانے کی صلاحیت جس کو چاہتا ہے عطا فرماتا ہے۔وَمَنْ یُّؤْتَ الْحِکْمَۃَ فَقَدْ اُوْتِیَ خَیْرًا کَثِیْرًا ط۔ اس سے بڑا خیر کا خزانہ تو اور کوئی ہے ہی نہیں وَمَا یَذَّکَّرُ اِلَّآ اُولُوا الْاَلْبَابِ ان باتوں سے صرف وہی لوگ سبق لیتے ہیں جو اولو الالباب ہیں ‘ عقل مند ہیں۔ لیکن جو دنیا پر ریجھ گئے ہیں ‘ جن کا سارا دلی اطمینان اپنے مال و زر ‘ جائیداد ‘ اثاثہ جات اور بینک بیلنس پر ہے تو ظاہر بات ہے کہ وہ اولو الالباب عقل مند نہیں ہیں۔
