- وَلَااور نہ
- تَنْكِحُواتم نکاح کرو
- الْمُشْرِكٰتِمشرک عورتوں سے
- حَتّٰییہاں تک کہ
- یُؤْمِنَّ ؕوہ ایمان لے آئیں
- وَلَاَمَةٌاور البتہ لونڈی
- مُّؤْمِنَةٌمومنہ۔ ایمان والی
- خَیْرٌبہتر ہے
- مِّنْسے
- مُّشْرِكَةٍمشرکہ عورت
- وَّلَوْاور اگرچہ
- اَعْجَبَتْكُمْ ۚوہ اچھی لگے تم کو
- وَلَااور نہ
- تُنْكِحُواتم نکاح کر کے دو
- الْمُشْرِكِیْنَمشرک مردوں کو
- حَتّٰییہاں تک کہ
- یُؤْمِنُوْا ؕوہ ایمان لے آئیں
- وَلَعَبْدٌاور البتہ غلام
- مُّؤْمِنٌمومن
- خَیْرٌبہتر ہے
- مِّنْسے
- مُّشْرِكٍمشرک مرد
- وَّلَوْاور اگرچہ
- اَعْجَبَكُمْ ؕوہ پسند آئے تم کو
- اُولٰٓىِٕكَیہ لوگ
- یَدْعُوْنَبلاتے ہیں
- اِلَیطرف
- النَّارِ ۖۚآگ کی
- وَاللّٰهُاور اللہ
- یَدْعُوْۤابلاتا ہے
- اِلَیطرف
- الْجَنَّةِجنت کی طرف
- وَالْمَغْفِرَةِاور بخشش کی طرف
- بِاِذْنِهٖ ۚساتھ اپنے اذن کے
- وَیُبَیِّنُاور بیان کرتا ہے
- اٰیٰتِهٖآیات اپنی
- لِلنَّاسِلوگوں کے لیے
- لَعَلَّهُمْتاکہ وہ
- یَتَذَكَّرُوْنَوہ نصیحت پکڑیں

Translation and commentary
Bayan-ul-Quran
اور مشرک عورتوں سے نکاح نہ کرو جب تک کہ وہ ایمان نہ لے آئیں اور ایک مؤمنہ لونڈی بہتر ہے ایک آزاد مشرکہ عورت سے اگرچہ وہ تمہیں اچھی بھی لگتی ہو اور اپنی عورتیں مشرکوں کے نکاح میں مت دو جب تک کہ وہ ایمان نہ لے آئیں اور ایک مؤمن غلام بہتر ہے ایک آزاد مشرک مرد سے اگرچہ وہ تمہیں پسند بھی ہو یہ لوگ آگ کی طرف بلا رہے ہیں اور اللہ تمہیں بلا رہا ہے جنت کی طرف اور مغفرت کی طرف اپنے حکم سے اور وہ اپنی آیات واضح کر رہا ہے لوگوں کے لیے تاکہ وہ نصیحت حاصل کریں

Commentary
آیت 221 وَلاَ تَنْکِحُوا الْمُشْرِکٰتِ حَتّٰی یُؤْمِنَّ ط وَلَاَمَۃٌ مُّؤْمِنَۃٌ خَیْرٌ مِّنْ مُّشْرِکَۃٍ وَّلَوْ اَعْجَبَتْکُمْ ج وَلاَ تُنْکِحُوا الْمُشْرِکِیْنَ حَتّٰی یُؤْمِنُوْا ط وَلَعَبْدٌ مُّؤْمِنٌ خَیْرٌ مِّنْ مُّشْرِکٍ وَّلَوْ اَعْجَبَکُمْ ط۔ خواہ وہ صاحب حیثیت اور مال دار ہو ‘ لیکن دولت ایمان سے محروم ہو تو تمہارے لیے جائز نہیں ہے کہ اپنی بہن یا بیٹی اس کے نکاح میں دے دو۔اُولٰٓءِکَ یَدْعُوْنَ اِلَی النَّارِج ۔ اگر ان سے رشتے ناتے جوڑو گے تو وہ تمہیں بھی جہنم میں لے جائیں گے اور تمہاری اولاد کو بھی۔
