- كُتِبَفرض کیا گیا
- عَلَیْكُمُتم پر
- الْقِتَالُجنگ کرنا۔ لڑائی کرنا
- وَهُوَحالانکہ وہ
- كُرْهٌناپسندیدہ ہے
- لَّكُمْ ۚتمہارے لیے
- وَعَسٰۤیاور امید ہے۔ ہوسکتا ہے
- اَنْکہ
- تَكْرَهُوْاتم ناپسند کرو
- شَیْـًٔاکسی چیز کو
- وَّهُوَاور وہ
- خَیْرٌبہتر ہو

Commentary
آیت 216 کُتِبَ عَلَیْکُمُ الْقِتَالُ وَہُوَ کُرْہٌ لَّکُمْ ج واضح رہے کہ سورة البقرۃ سے پہلے سورة محمد ﷺ نازل ہوچکی تھی اور اس میں قتال کی فرضیتّ آچکی تھی۔ چنانچہ اس کا ایک نام سورة القتال بھی ہے۔ لہٰذا اس حوالے سے کچھ لوگ پریشان ہو رہے تھے۔ خاص طور پر منافقین یہ کہتے تھے کہ بھائی صلح جوئی سے کام لو ‘ بس دعوت و تبلیغ کے ذریعے سے لوگوں کو سیدھے راستے کی طرف لاؤ ‘ یہ جنگ وجدال اور لڑائی بھڑائی تو کوئی اچھا کام نہیں ہے ‘ اس میں تو بہت خرابی ہے۔ ان کے علاوہ ایسے مسلمان جن کا ایمان قدرے کمزور تھا ‘ اگرچہ وہ منافق تو نہیں تھے ‘ لیکن ان کا ایمان ابھی پختہ نہیں تھا ‘ ابھی تازہ تازہ ایمان لائے تھے اور تربیت کے مراحل سے ابھی نہیں گزرے تھے ‘ ان میں سے بھی بعض لوگوں کے دلوں میں انقباض پیدا ہو رہا تھا۔ یہاں قتال کی فرضیتّ کے لیے کُتِبَ کا لفظ آیا ہے۔ اس سے پہلے یہ لفظ روزے ‘ قصاص اور وصیت کے ضمن میں آچکا ہے۔ کُتِبَ عَلَیْکُمُ الصِّیَامُ۔۔ کُتِبَ عَلَیْکُمُ الْقِصَاصُ فِی الْقَتْلٰی۔۔ کُتِبَ عَلَیْکُمْ اِذَا حَضَرَ اَحَدَکُمُ الْمَوْتُ اِنْ تَرَکَ خَیْرَنِ اج الْوَصِیَّۃُ۔۔ فرمایا کہ تم پر جنگ فرض کردی گئی ہے اور وہ تمہیں بری لگ رہی ہے۔ وَعَسٰٓی اَنْ تَکْرَہُوْا شَیْءًا وَّہُوَخَیْرٌ لَّکُمْ ج وَعَسٰٓی اَنْ تُحِبُّوْا شَیْءًا وَّہُوَ شَرٌّ لَّکُمْ ط وَاللّٰہُ یَعْلَمُ وَاَنْتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُوْنَ ۔ تم اپنی عقل پر ایمان نہ رکھو ‘ اللہ کی وحی پر ایمان رکھو ‘ اللہ کے رسول ﷺ پر ایمان رکھو۔ جس وقت کے لیے جو حکم موزوں تھا وہی تمہیں اللہ اور اس کے رسول ﷺ کی طرف سے دیا گیا۔ چودہ برس تک تمہیں قتال سے منع کیا گیا۔ اس وقت تمہارے لیے حکم تھا : کُفُّوْا اَیْدِیَکُمْ اپنے ہاتھ روکے رکھو ! اب تم پر قتال فرض کیا جا رہا ہے ‘ لہٰذا اب اس حکم پر سر تسلیم خم کرنا تمہارے لیے لازم ہے۔
