  1. اِنَّبیشک
  2. الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگ
  3. یَكْتُمُوْنَجو چھپاتے ہیں
  4. مَاۤاس کو جو
  5. اَنْزَلَنازل کیا
  6. اللّٰهُاللہ نے
  7. مِنَسے
  8. الْكِتٰبِکتاب میں
  9. وَیَشْتَرُوْنَاور وہ لے لیتے ہیں
  10. بِهٖاس کے بدلے
  11. ثَمَنًاقیمت
  12. قَلِیْلًا ۙتھوڑی
  13. اُولٰٓىِٕكَیہی لوگ ہیں جو
  14. مَانہیں
  15. یَاْكُلُوْنَکھاتے
  16. فِیْمیں
  17. بُطُوْنِهِمْاپنے پیٹوں
  18. اِلَّامگر
  19. النَّارَآگ
  20. وَلَااور نہیں
  21. یُكَلِّمُهُمُکلام کرے گا ان سے
  22. اللّٰهُاللہ
  23. یَوْمَدن
  24. الْقِیٰمَةِقیامت کے
  25. وَلَااور نہ
  26. یُزَكِّیْهِمْ ۖۚان کو پاک کرے گا
  27. وَلَهُمْاور ان کے لیے ہے
  28. عَذَابٌعذاب
  29. اَلِیْمٌدردناک

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

حق یہ ہے کہ جو لوگ ان احکام کو چھپاتےہیں جو اللہ نے اپنی کتاب میں نازل کیے ہیں اور تھوڑے سے دنیوی فائدوں پر انہیں بھینٹ چڑھاتےہیں ، وہ دراصل اپنے پیٹ آگ سے بھر رہے ہیں1۔قیامت کے روز اللہ ہرگزان سے بات نہ کرے گا، نہ انھیں پاکیزہ ٹھیرائے گا،2اور ان کے لیے دردناک سزا ہے

  1. مطلب یہ ہے کہ عام لوگوں میں یہ جتنے غلط توہّمات پھیلے ہیں اور باطل رسموں اور بے جا پابندیوں کی جو نئی نئی شریعتیں بن گئی ہیں ان سب کی ذمّہ داری ان علما پر ہے جن کے پاس  کتابِ الہٰی کا علم تھا مگر انہوں نے عامہء خلائق تک  اس علم کو نہ پہنچایا۔ پھر جب لوگوں میں جہالت کی وجہ سے غلط طریقے رواج پانے لگے تو اس وقت بھی وہ ظالم منہ میں گھُنگنیاں ڈالے بیٹھے رہے۔ بلکہ ان میں سے بہتوں نے اپنا فائدہ اسی میں دیکھا کہ کتاب اللہ کے احکام پر پردہ ہی پڑا رہے۔

  2. یہ دراصل ان پیشوا ؤ ں کے جھُوٹے دعووں کی تردید اور ان غلط فہمیوں کا رد ہے جو اُنہوں نے عام لوگوں میں اپنے متعلق پھیلا رکھی ہیں۔ وہ ہر ممکن طریقے سے لوگوں کے دلوں میں یہ خیال بٹھانے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں، اور لوگ بھی ان کے متعلق ایسا ہی گمان رکھتے ہیں کہ ان کی ہستیاں بڑی پاکیزہ اور مقدس ہیں اور جو اُن کا دامن گرفتہ ہو جائے گا  اس کی سفارش کر کے  وہ اللہ کے ہاں اُسے بخشوا لیں گے۔ جواب میں اللہ فرماتا ہے کہ ہم انھیں ہر گز منہ نہ لگائیں گے اور نہ انھیں پاکیزہ قرار دیں گے۔

یقیناً وہ لوگ جو چھپاتے ہیں اس کو جو اللہ نے نازل کیا ہے کتاب میں سے اور فروخت کرتے ہیں اسے بہت حقیر سی قیمت پر یہ لوگ نہیں بھر رہے اپنے پیٹوں میں مگر آگ اور اللہ ان سے کلام نہیں کرے گا قیامت کے دن اور نہ انہیں پاک کرے گا اور ان کے لیے درد ناک عذاب ہے

Commentary

آیت 174 اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ یَکْتُمُوْنَ مَآ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰہُ مِنَ الْکِتٰبِ وَیَشْتَرُوْنَ بِہٖ ثَمَنًا قَلِیلْاً لا یعنی اس کے عوض دنیوی فائدوں کی صورت میں حقیر قیمت قبول کرتے ہیں۔
