  2. الَّذِیْنَجو لوگ
  3. یَكْتُمُوْنَچھپاتے ہیں

  5. اَنْزَلْنَانازل کیا ہم نے

  10. بَعْدِبعد اس کے
  11. مَاجو
  12. بَیَّنّٰهُبیان کردیا ہم نے اس کو
  13. لِلنَّاسِلوگوں کے لیے
  14. فِیمیں
  15. الْكِتٰبِ ۙکتاب
  16. اُولٰٓىِٕكَیہی وہ لوگ ہیں
  17. یَلْعَنُهُمُلعنت کرتا ہے ان پر
  18. اللّٰهُاللہ تعالیٰ
  19. وَیَلْعَنُهُمُاور لعنت کرتے ہیں
  20. اللّٰعِنُوْنَلعنت کرنے والے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

جو لوگ ہماری نازل کی ہوئی روشن تعلیمات اور ہدایات کو چھپاتے ہیں در آں حال یہ کہ ہم انھیں سب انسانوں کی رہنمائی کے لیے اپنی کتاب میں بیان کر چکے ہیں ، یقین جانو کہ اللہ بھی ان پر لعنت کرتا ہےاور تمام لعنت کرنے والے بھی ان پر لعنت بھیجتے ہیں۔1

  1. علمائے یہود کا سب سے بڑا قصُور یہ تھا کہ اُنہوں نے کتاب اللہ کے علم کی اشاعت کرنے کے بجائے اس کو ربّیوں اور مذہبی پیشہ وروں کے ایک محدُود طبقے میں مقید کر رکھا تھا اور عامّہء خلائق تو درکنار ، خود یہُود عوام تک کو اس کی ہوا نہ لگنے دیتے تھے۔ پھر جب عام جہالت کی وجہ سے ان کے اندر گمراہیاں پھیلیں، تو علما نے نہ صرف یہ کہ اصلاح کی کوئی کوشش نہ کی ، بلکہ وہ عوام میں اپنی مقبولیّت برقرار رکھنے کے لیے ہر اُس  ضلالت اور بدعت کو، جس کا رواج عام ہو جاتا ، اپنے قول و عمل سے یا اپنے سکوت سے اُلٹی سندِ جواز عطا کرنے لگے۔ اسی سے بچنے کی تاکید مسلمانوں کو کی جارہی ہے۔ دُنیا کی ہدایت کا کام جس اُمّت کے سپرد کیا جائے، اُس کا فرض یہ ہے کہ اس ہدایت کو زیادہ سے زیادہ پھیلائے، نہ یہ کہ بخیل کے مال کی طرح اسے چھپا رکھے۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

یقیناً وہ لوگ جو چھپاتے ہیں اس شے کو جو ہم نے نازل کی بیناتّ میں سے اور ہدایت میں سے بعد اس کے کہ ہم نے اس کو واضح کردیا ہے لوگوں کے لیے کتاب میں تو وہی لوگ ہیں کہ جن پر لعنت کرتا ہے اللہ اور لعنت کرتے ہیں تمام لعنت کرنے والے

Commentary

آیت 159 اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ یَکْتُمُوْنَ مَآ اَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ الْبَیِّنٰتِ وَالْہُدٰی مِنْم بَعْدِ مَا بَیَّنّٰہُ للنَّاسِ فِی الْْکِتٰبِ لا اُولٰٓءِکَ یَلْعَنُہُمُ اللّٰہُ وَیَلْعَنُہُمُ اللّٰعِنُوْنَ اس آیت میں یہود کی طرف اشارہ ہے ‘ جن کی معاندانہ روش کا ذکر پہلے گزر چکا۔ یہاں اب گویا آخری قطعی صفائی mopping up operation کے طور پر ان کے بارے میں چند باتوں کا مزید اضافہ کیا جا رہا ہے۔ یہاں بیناتّ اور ہدیٰ سے خاص طور پر وہ نشانیاں مراد ہیں جو اللہ تعالیٰ نے تورات میں نبی آخر الزماں ﷺ کے بارے میں یہود کی راہنمائی کے لیے واضح فرمائی تھیں۔ لیکن یہود نے ان نشانیوں سے راہنمائی حاصل کرنے کے بجائے ان کو چھپانے کی کوشش کی۔ آیت 140 میں ہم پڑھ آئے ہیں : وَمَنْ اَظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ کَتَمَ شَھَادَۃً عِنْدَہٗ مِنَ اللّٰہِ اور اس شخص سے بڑھ کر ظالم اور کون ہوگا جس کے پاس اللہ کی طرف سے ایک گواہی تھی جسے اس نے چھپالیا۔ یہاں اسی کی وضاحت ہو رہی ہے کہ تورات اور انجیل میں کیسی کیسی کھلی شہادتیں تھیں ‘ اور ان کو یہ چھپائے پھر رہے ہیں !
