- اَمْیا
- تَقُوْلُوْنَتم کہتے ہو
- اِنَّبیشک
- اِبْرٰهٖمَابراہیم
- وَاِسْمٰعِیْلَاور اسماعیل
- وَاِسْحٰقَاوراسحاق
- وَیَعْقُوْبَاوریعقوب
- وَالْاَسْبَاطَاوراولاد یعقوب
- كَانُوْاوہ سب تھ
- هُوْدًایہودی
- اَوْیا
- نَصٰرٰی ؕنَصَٰرَىٰ
- قُلْکہہ دیجئے
- ءَاَنْتُمْکیا تم
- اَعْلَمُزیادہ جانتے ہو
- اَمِیا
- اللّٰهُ ؕاللہ
- وَمَنْاور کون
- اَظْلَمُبڑا ظالم ہے
- مِمَّنْاس سے جو
- كَتَمَچھپائے
- شَهَادَةًگواہی کو
- عِنْدَهٗجو اس کے پاس ہے
- مِنَکی طرف سے
- اللّٰهِ ؕاللہ
- وَمَااور نہیں
- اللّٰهُاللہ
- بِغَافِلٍغافل
- عَمَّااس سے جو
- تَعْمَلُوْنَتم عمل کرتے ہو

Bayan-ul-Quran
کیا تمہارا کہنا یہ ہے کہ ابراہیم اسماعیل اسحاق اور یعقوب اور ان کی اولاد سب یہودی تھے یا نصرانی تھے ؟ کہیے : تم زیادہ جانتے ہو یا اللہ ؟ اور (کان کھول کر سن لو) اس شخص سے بڑھ کر ظالم اور کون ہوگا جس کے پاس اللہ کی طرف سے ایک گواہی تھی جسے اس نے چھپالیا ؟ اور اللہ ہرگز غافل نہیں ہے اس سے جو تم کر رہے ہو۔

Commentary
آیت 140 اَمْ تَقُوْلُوْنَ اِنَّ اِبْرٰہٖمَ وَاِسْمٰعِیْلَ وَاِسْحٰقَ وَیَعْقُوْبَ وَالْاَسْبَاطَ کَانُوْا ہُوْدًا اَوْ نَصٰرٰی ط تم جو کہتے ہو کہ یہودی ہوجاؤ یا نصرانی تب ہدایت پاؤ گے ‘ تو کیا ابراہیم علیہ السلام یہودی تھے یا نصرانی ؟ اور اسحاق ‘ یعقوب ‘ یوسف ‘ موسیٰ اور عیسیٰ علیہ السلام کون تھے ؟ یہی بات آج مسلمانوں کو سوچنی چاہیے کہ محمد رسول اللہ ﷺ اور آپ ﷺ کے اصحاب رض دیوبندی تھے ‘ بریلوی تھے ‘ اہل حدیث تھے یا شیعہ تھے ؟ اللہ تعالیٰ کے ساتھ اخلاص کا تقاضا یہ ہے کہ ان تقسیموں سے بالاتر رہا جائے۔ ٹھیک ہے ایک شخص کسی فقہی مسلک کی پیروی کر رہا ہے ‘ لیکن اس مسلک کو اپنی شناخت بنا لینا ‘ اسے دین پر مقدمّ رکھنا ‘ اس مسلک ہی کے لیے ہے ساری محنت و مشقت اور بھاگ دوڑ کرنا ‘ اور اسی کی دعوت و تبلیغ کرنا ‘ دین کی اصل حقیقت اور روح کے یکسر خلاف ہے۔قُلْ ءَ اَنْتُمْ اَعْلَمُ اَمِ اللّٰہُ ط وَمَنْ اَظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ کَتَمَ شَہَادَۃً عِنْدَہٗ مِنَ اللّٰہِ ط علماء یہود جانتے تھے کہ محمد ﷺ اللہ کے رسول ہیں ‘ جن کے وہ منتظر تھے۔ لیکن وہ اس گواہی کو چھپائے بیٹھے تھے۔
